- Susan WMilford, CT39 contributionsPeter was such a cool guide. He gave such insightful explanations about how the Costa Brava changed over years. All the stops were interesting and beautiful (even the fake ones). And our lunch was fantastic local cuisine. - Pratyush1 contributionGirona is a very beautiful town, with many spots used in GOT shootings. Then travel to pals is also good, the town is old and beautiful. Beaches of costa Brava are picturesque and its a must see if someone wants to experience medival towns and calm beaches. Marcel (our tour guide) was a very nice and knowledgeable person. It is a quaint and intimate experience- good ole fashioned strolling, enjoying, and good conversation with your group and guide. Each of the locations was beautiful and left a warm and special memory in your heart. The museum is also fascinating and absolutely a must-visit. Fabrizio was a fantastic guide and a wonderful person to spend the day with. - James W2 contributionsThis tour had everything to explore and experience Costa Brava - scenic bus tour, three different old world fishing/resort towns, a hike along the coast between the towns. A boat ride along the rugged coast with underwater viewing, and lastly stopping at a medieval town. Lots of free time to explore each area and choice of lunch places on the seaside. The guides were friendly, fun and personable and knowledgeable about the history and areas. They quickly answered my questions via WhatsApp before the tour. It was a fantastic outing thoroughly enjoyed the day. Gino our guide offered a good amount of history but not so much that you’re overwhelmed. We had plenty of time at each stop and never felt rushed. Our group size was 6 which made it very intimate and easy to maneuver around. All of us very much enjoyed our day and found Antonio a wealth of knowledge. Antonio coordinated with us early for pick up time and location. He met us on time, and we had a comfortable ride out to the countryside. We very much enjoyed the locations we visited, Antonio did a great job of filling in time between locations with local history and facts. We were able to tweak sites and focused on the beaches. As this was shoulder season, we really enjoyed the more relaxed environment. He asked for our food preferences for lunch and the group chose seafood, resulting in an amazing lunch in Begur. - Kris L19 contributionsOur driver, Javier, arrived 10 minutes early to our hotel. The van was super clean and he provided water as well. He provided some details about barcelona on our way out of town which was nice. He took right to our Girona tour guide, Gerard, who was so awesome. He told us so much about the city, about its past and its present and its many traditions. We saw where game of thrones was filmed and Gerard led us right back to our driver. Honestly we napped on the ride to costa brava but once there he dropped us off right at the water near shopping and food. The atmosphere of this gorgeous coastal town makes you want to never leave. We got caught in an afternoon rain storm but Javier came to the rescue to pick us up early. Make sure to note that some stores close for siesta. The ride back to the hotel we napped again. - Phyllis L1 contributionWonderful day trip from Barcelona. Our guide Feliciano was very knowledgeable, and a very good driver. We had a lovely walking tour of old town Girona and visited the church. Then a short drive to a really nice seaside village for lunch. Very nice day spent in the countryside .
