Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- LangToonTravellerAuchterarder, UK101 contributionsA beautiful botanic garden in a stunning location. The garden was immaculate and contained lots of sections with different plant and insect species - we even saw humming bird hawk moths - amazing! The views from the terraces were captivating and although it was perhaps not the best time to see the plants in bloom, there was still lots to see and admire.Written 30 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlbertSalichsManresa, Spain24,101 contributionsPlayas de Calella are some beaches located in Calella de Palafrugell, which are wonderful! You can see excellent views of the coast, enjoy some of the restaurants and see the very nice traditional architecture of the town. So, walking around the site is wonderful! We came here last February and it is a very quiet and relaxing place in low season: walking, seeing views, relaxing or eating in a restaurant is a very good option in winter. Also, there are few tourists, so, it is not a stressful place.Written 12 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlbertSalichsManresa, Spain24,101 contributionsCala de Sant Roc is one of the little beaches located in Calella de Palafrugell, in the Costa Brava, in the North of Catalonia. It is a very nice beach, from where you can see very beautiful views of the town and the coast. We came here in winter and it is a very relaxing place, where you can walk, sunbathe, see views and follow the walk path near the coast. Also, it is not full of tourists and it is a quiet place in low season. Very nice.

Very fair priced, the driver agreed to take us quite a short distance during the off season. We are very glad we found it and highly recommend this service!!Written 24 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bryn3 contributionsScuba experience (about 3 hours, including instruction). Made to feel very welcome by the staff. Andrea was our instructor who gave us super clear instructions and practice and made us feel totally confident in the water. Great experience, professional and very enjoyable.Written 23 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Nicholas D4 contributionsWe (two of us) we’re given an excellent 2-hour trip up and down the coast from Calella to Palamos in a small Zodiac RIB out of season (very early May). Taken in and out of the rocks and caves. Completely safe in the hands of Miki who proved an entertaining skipper who knew every inch of the coast, it’s history etc. Thoroughly recommended. 5 stars for everything.Written 4 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JRCParisPARIS37 contributionsEveryone agreed this was one of the highlights of our holiday. This was the third time that we have used this company for a boat trip. We made 3 stops to jump into and swim in the clear blue seas. To our delight we saw a flying fish and our very capable skipper, Isaak, admitted that it was only the second time he had seen one!Written 20 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
