Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Main interest of SAN Museum is the stunning architecture of the museum as well as the serene environment.
We enjoyed the James Turrell experience and visited the interesting paper exhibition but the art gallery was closed. Some translations in English were provided during the Turrell experience but they could be improved.

The museum was great. It is very unique and there's a lot to see. We had so much fun taking photos and wondering around the museum and sculpture park. It's really quirky and fun. It kept us busy for the whole day.

The gramophone museum was incredibly large. So much stuff! Felt like we were rushed through. Would have liked more demonstrations of devices. Gangneung in itself was a huge disappointment and a waste of money. Don't go anytime but summer. Dumpy little hotel town areas with old hotels, about 8 convenience stores making up most of the town, and dirty old clubs from 1970.

This was a great experience and a must see if you visit South Korea. You can see where North Korea starts and the observatory has a great history.

My family visited this attraction for walking after lunch. This place was memorial place about Park Kyongni, Koran representative writer. There was not birthplace, but working and living place to the death. There was not big, but had dwelling, memorial hall and small walking area. The memorial hall had many books, her life story and keepsake, that's impressive. Free and had parking area.

If you have plan to visit in Chunchun with your kids, I recommend this museum. It is closer to robot museum so you can visit both place together.

Herb Nara is the oldest herb farm open to visitors in Korea! It is really big in space, hosting 7 themed gardens, greenhouse, cafe, restaurant experience room and even accomandation. Loved this place, especially the indoor areas as we visited in autumn. I feel like it would be even prettier in summer #추천웰니스관광지 #wellnesskorea #wellnesstourismsupporters #한국관광공사 #허브나라농원

This museum is also known as the Gangwon Comprehensive Museum and is well worth a visit, especially if you are heading back from being amazed at the nearby Hwaseongul and Daegeumgul caves, which are only 10 mins drive away. The museum looks like a large temple complex. It is well laid out, where you follow a numbered route. When we went there were only a handful of tourists, which added to the atmosphere and the feeling that you had discovered somewhere special. The museum is an eclectic range of high-quality donated items, which are impressive in their range. The use of glass cases makes you feel as though you are in an old European natural history museum, which I mean as a positive. And outside there is the weirdest, psychedelic and fun feature whereby masses of man-made coral sculptures are growing into the temple and then spilling into a walkable park attraction. It's highly impressive and curious teens will love it. The gift shop is large and clearly built for clothes-shopping tourists. The coffee shop in as good as any in Seoul, and they put a huge amount of though into the beautiful presentation of their drinks. As with the nearby caves, this is a ten out of ten attraction and somewhere none of your Korean friends will have heard off. Unusual and impelling.

Sadly, most of the 500 arhats from Cheongpyeongsa Temple were on loan to the National Museum in Seoul when we visited, temporarily replaced by a beautiful calligraphy exhibit. Still, the museum is a good introduction to the art and history of Gangwon-do Province, with some great iron Buddhas, some enormous placenta jars as well as many other unique items. Ask a volunteer why the noses of the buddhas get rubbed off. Museum itself is a very attractive building.

We ve been to SokCho lots of times but never visited this place. We went there w.out plan. Luckily when we arrived there traditional farmers music performance just started. That was very exciting. There are activities for the children and my son enjoyed it.

    I love Makguksu so much.💛
So I went to Makguksu experience museum in Chuncheon with my parents.

On the first floor, an official explained the origin of Makguksu and the efficacy of buckwheat.

On the second floor, there is an experience center and a restaurant where I can make and eat Makguksu myself.

It was much more delicious because I made it myself!👍

These days, the weather is getting hot.
So, I want to go there again and eat Makguksu.🍜
