Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Hana SMalaysia58 contributionsIt’s like a mini Myeongdong shopping district at Chuncheon but with a fraction of the shops selling face masks. It’s still quite happening and many things to see and street food to try.Written 4 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ibrahim MSingapore, Singapore143 contributionsI think there are 3 dakgalbi streets if i am not wrong, this is near Myeongdong street. Many dakgalbi restaurants around here. Some are crowded with queues extended outside, some are near empty with staff standing outside the shop trying to usher people in. I got ushered in, didnt mind as due to my lack in the korean language, the lady that ushered me spoke english, albeit minimally. It was still better than struggling to order. Plus most dakgalbi places i asked only offer it for minimum 2 pax, here they allowed me to eat for 1 since i was solo.Written 10 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KatSeoul, South Korea2,117 contributionsGreat place to visit for some traditional tofu restaurants. The tofu here is different as in other places because saltwater is used which makes the tofu soft. I really liked it. I ate at 농촉순두부 restaurant and had some tofu ice cream at 초당110. Give it a try, a good overall experience!Written 27 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

My family visited this area on our way to my cousin's wedding in Chuncheo area. There was good place to know about Kim Yu-jeong, Korean famous writer. This area was well managed and had good atmosphere. Good place to walk and know about Kim Yu-jeong.Written 15 October 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The village features traditional North Korean-style hanok architecture, abundant rice fields, and is open to tourists. We parked at the entrance of the village and followed the signs for a scenic walking path with signs at points of interest; most of the signs were also translated into English as well. On the day I visited with my children, there was only one other couple also visiting. As this is a working farming village and still occupied by the descendants of the original founders, it is important to be quiet, respectful of privacy, and to be considerate with photography as well. We took our time and it took us just under an hour to complete the loop and return to the parking lot. There are clean restrooms on site, a vegetarian restaurant featuring mountain greens, and a home selling fresh homemade rice cookies. If you love history and want to step back in time, I highly recommend a visit.Written 8 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I visited this village for buying some JJinppan that was famous food in this area. There was just small town with some Jjjinppang shop. There will make Jjinppang theme park, but not yet. I wish there was good attraction as soon as possible.Written 7 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
