Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We actually expected to spend more time there but it's actually small. The seals were too cute and they had an amazing shark tank! Overall it was nice spending some time there but maybe not worth the trip there.

Nemunoki-no-Niya Park, or the Silk Tree Garden, was the site on which the parents of Empress Michiko lived. The park is named after a Japanese short verse form(a tanka, 31 Japanese syllables) written by the Empress when she was in high school. It is said that she used to walk to school (Sacred Heart) from her home.

I visited Shikaze Park with my wife after dinner for Pokémon hunting. It was already 10 o'clock, but we were surprised to find many people including small children playing Pokémon GO late at night.

Walked the whole park whilst it was drizzling with rain and it was beautiful lots to see in the park, water features, statues, plants, lake, stages, wildlife. A very pleasant walk indeed. You can even ride a bike all the way around worth a visit and doesn't cost you a cent.

A nice little garden right next to Marriott Tokyo. It has a nice big waterfall and is very relaxed during the day.

The walk along both sides of the river is very relaxing and I am being a bit unkind to this patch of land. There is a nice cafe nearby, but the cherry blossom had gone and all I could see was families and young couples stretched out. They were quite happy about it. I should point out that the bridges all seem to have different designs. All worth a look.

Omori Shell Mound Park commemorates the site of Japan’s first archeological dig, a Jomon period (14,000 BC to 300 BC) seaside village. The site was first identified by Edward Sylvester Morse, an American zoologist, in 1877 as he rode the train from Yokohama to Tokyo, having just arrived in Yokohama by ship to teach at the Tokyo Imperial University. His trained eye recognized the shape of a midden, or shell mound (a/k/a stone age garbage heap), which he subsequently confirmed when he returned to the site by horseback with some of his students. Morse’s characterization of the markings on pottery sherds he uncovered as “cord-marked”, led to the Japanese name for the historical period: Jomon (literally “rope mark”).

The park contains displays of the former coastline and the lifestyle of the people of the period. Toward the back of the park on the right hand side, under a white shell-shaped roof, is a dug out pit where you can see the ancient shell refuse. As you stand at the back of the park, overlooking the train tracks and endless buildings with no shoreline in sight, it’s difficult to imagine that this spot was once the seashore.

This is a small park on a raised level of ground and surrounded by apartment buildings. It was winter and the trees were bare and there was not a lot going for it other than a small open space.
