Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was one of the best things we did on our stay in Tokyo!
Highly recommend doing this at the start of your trip, Andy is a fun & friendly guy, who explains a lot about Japanese daily life in Tokyo. Andy gives clear directions to the meeting point & is very responsive with the online booking.
Really enjoyed the food on the tour as well.
Congratulations Andy, you do it well!
    Best wishes Vicki & James

We went on the Mount Fuji and Hakone private tour on 25th March, 2024. Our guide was Ali and we had a great trip with him. To avoid traffic congestion, we went to Lake Ashi in the morning and came back from Oishi Park in the evening. Mr Ali was very knowledgeable and helpful, and we enjoyed the trip even though the weather was cloudy and Mount Fuji was not visible. He was amiable and personally took us around tourist places, acting as an interpreter also whenever needed. Oshino Hakkai and Saiko Iyashi na Sato Nemba Village are beautiful and scenic and are must-visit destinations.

It would be nice if the back windows of the vehicle did not have dark tinted glasses, since they restrict viewing experience in such picturesque surroundings.

Eri's class was a highlight of our trip! She provided basically a one-on-one traditional Japanese cooking experience. Learning how to make sushi rolls and tempura was a lot of fun and a delicious lunch. Highly recommend.

If you’re thinking about booking this do it! Totally worth it. I booked this tour specifically for my parents and because my father has a bit of trouble walking long distances. My parents were only in town for the weekend and this was a great way to get to see a lot of the must see locations without the hassle of navigating the subway system.

Zee was easy going and flexible which we appreciated. We were able to tailor how long we wanted to stay at places and he recommended places to eat at the locations that we were visiting instead of having a set restaurant we had to eat at. He also was knowledgeable about the historical facts of the sites we visited. Which my Dad and boyfriend loved. Zee not only had a good grasp of the English language but Japanese as well.

The car was a good size, air conditioned, clean and comfortable for our party of 4. Zee was great at navigating the streets and making sure we knew where we needed to meet him.

Overall it was an amazing experience! Thanks again Zee! Will book again next time we are in Japan.

    Pro tips:

Save your appetite for Tsukiji fish market and ask to go there first for breakfast. If you want to go up the Tokyo Sky tree or inside the imperial palace you need to make your own bookings. Same day bookings are close to impossible. Download WhatsApp if you are from overseas so you can easily communicate with your tour guide to figure out logistics for pick up.

I had an absolute blast at the Anime Experience with Japan Awaits! 🎉 From seeing the magic behind my favorite shows to trying my hand at drawing anime characters, every moment was pure joy. The guide were super friendly and niceeeee, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're an anime fan, this is a must-do on your trip!!

We were picked up on time at our hotel by a smartly dressed female driver in a spacious black taxi. She helped us with our baggage and got us safely to the airport in about half an hour.

Eri is a lovely person and a wonderful instructor. She clearly explained every step and guided us through the entire process of cutting, rolling and slicing sushi. I finally feel confident that I’ll be able to manage making a decent sushi at home.
Making tempura was quite the revelation. I was always very apprehensive when it came to deep frying anything because of the hot oil. But Eri was so calm and again explained how to prepare all the items and how to let them glide into the oil. I did it myself and it just worked.
We didn’t just learn a lot we also had a great time and talked about everything from food to culture and language. It was a wonderful experience and I can only recommend her classes.

Our family were satisfied with the last tour in Shinjuku bar hopping tour so we joined the sake tasting tour in Koenji this time.

Yosuke has a wealth of knowledge about sake and a passionate desire to promote sake to the world!
We tried 5 sakes from different prefectures.
After that, we went to local izakaya (bars) that were really fun too.

I would recommend people who never tried sake and learn more about sake.
    Arigato, Yosuke-san!
