The aquarium was pretty quiet on a weekday morning when we went. Our kids enjoyed the huge variety of sea life and especially the penguins.

It is not the snazzist sea life park but great value and educational. Not a lot of English signage except for the species names.

The cafeteria was specious and pleasant. The food was decent.

this property showcases a wonderful array of bonsai plants varying in size from miniature to big & bold specimens - one can easily spend an hour [or more] strolling around what is a deceptively large area - close attention to some of the attractions clearly demonstrate the art of grafting as well as the use of wires to 'train / mold' the specimens to the shape desired by the artist - there are a few stairs to negotiate but most of the exhibition is at ground level - i bought a ticket on line [approx $25 AUD] but walk ups appeared to be just as easy - a little way out of the cbd but well worth the taxi fare - 美しい .

I took a morning stroll from Hotel II Fiore Kasai to this park after a heavy breakfast. It is about an hour to the park and another hour back.

It is like the combination of Singapore East Coast Park and Botanical Garden. It is on a reclaimed land just like the artificial island of Odaiba which we visited on our second day in Japan.

The locals came here for BBQ camping and picnic. I came on a weekend and the place is flooded with kindergarten children accompanied by their parents and the outing probably organised by the school.

From the Crystal view building, I could have a panoramic view of the coastline and the adjoining islands. I walked over to one of the islands and could see parents accompanying their children playing at the beach. There are also tentages set up for day camping.

The Diamond and Flower Ferris wheel is located at another corner in the park. This ferris wheel is the second largest of its kind in Jspsn and offers a good panoramic view of Tokyo Bay and the surrounding.

There is also a bird sanctuary in the park and I enjoyed the birds chirping in their different tunes as I roamed round the park area.

The park is quite dense with tall trees and is a great place for morning exercise.

A gem of greenery in Kasai on a reclaimed land.

Great little zoo in beautiful park. Free entry but we'll worth making a donation. Favourite as an Aussie was the red panda

A blend of history, technology and interesting tidbits about the Tokyo metro. Unfortunately the English explanations are pretty limited, many displays only have Japanese text. The simulators are pretty cool, you get an appreciation for how challenging it is to drive a metro and stop it at the exact spot so the doors line up with the platform gates - who knew? Plan for 60-90 minutes.

Though we did not ride the wheel this is well worth viewing from anywhere you can at night. The illumination is spectacular.

If you are interested in Japanese culture, this is a must-see event. It takes place near a river. You'll see a sea of people gather and this is interesting by itself. I did not imagine the multitude of this event. you have to reserve some space and arrive early (way before sunset). But the show is totally worthit, weather you are accompanied by loved ones or friends, its a show everyone can enjoy, and its free. Just remember to get water and food before you go there.

It's free so you have nothing to lose if you're in the vicinity, but an average tourist will probably not be in the neighborhood.

Of the many parks in Tokyo, this is one of the attractive gardens to visit, because in addition to the arrangement of their beautiful garden, also equipped with a wide collection of free animals at the zoo, which is part of this park. Free entrance ticket.

This is a part of a big Kasai Rinkai Park, so if you visit the park, be sure to walk on the beach as well.
