My mother was visiting me and my wife in Japan for the first time, for 3 months.
We wanted her to experience the "real" Japan as much as possible. During 3 months, we had plenty of time to try a very big variety of Japanese foods, visited many historical sites in different regions. We wanted to share a special memory together before she went back. That's when we found this photo session.
I can highly recommend this photo session for any Japanese culture enthusiasts who want to immortalize an unforgettable moment.
We got to choose and wear Kimono the traditional way, being dressed by a professional dresser.
Then we got the unique experience of conveying our requests to the local Kami (God), with a real Shinto priest performing the Gokito prayer just for us, at a beautiful and very old Shinto Shrine.
It is a bit more expensive than other simple photography plans, but it was perfect for us, because we wanted to experience the traditional Japanese culture, accompanied by real professionals. (Dresser, hairdresser, photographer, translator, Shinto priest)
I'm happy I have beautiful pictures with my mother and my wife.
Thanks to all the crew members at Asukanet for this unforgettable day.
