Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Bambi H AuthorSandwich, IL145 contributionsWhat a wonderful place! It is a real treat for foreign visitors too who might not ever otherwise encounter Australian wildlife.
There is a nice little restaurant at the beginning and you can purchase feed for the animals.
One can roam the large spaces where kangaroo are somewhat docile and accepting of your approach. You can line up and get a photo in your small group with a koala (at this time it was no extra cost).
Echidna's and dingos and birds (unfortunately the Tasmanian devils weren't out to see which is a shame).

There is also a restaurant/cafe to have something to eat or just sit and have a coffee.Written 2 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Albert ZPetersfield, UK307 contributionsLovely almost natural gardens rather than the park like gardens of Melbourne and Sydney. We didn't spend long enough in gardens as a hot day and had to get back. We came from Mount lofty House and rememberer it's all downhill from there and quite a drop to the bottom. Thankfully we got slightly lost and only did about 3km avoiding going all the way to bottom as return uphill a bit hot and sweaty. Lovely Rhododendrons in bloom and interesting tree specimens. - Chris AbbottAdelaide, Australia806 contributionsWaterfall Gully to Measday Lookout walk is only a 3.7 km loop that is pretty easy if you decide not to walk all the way up to My Lofty Summit. Unlike the Waterfall Gully carpark, you won’t have trouble finding a spot to park at the Measdays lookout. Also a great intro into ClelandWritten 2 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Silvy M1 contributionThe spa is surrounded by lush greenery. The reception ambience is calming. The staff members were professional at all times and paid attention to my preferences. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Would highly recommend.Written 16 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RobynB83Cairns, Australia26 contributionsFabulous find at Crafers today. Raining and cold outside and warm and cosy by the fire inside this gallery and coffee shop. This was such a surprise to visit with quality art work and various artisan goods available for purchase surrounding the intimate coffee shop where we enjoyed the best coffee we have had since arriving in Adelaide a week ago. Visit - you will be happy you did.Written 13 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
