Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were delighted that our holiday coincided with a practice life boat launch on the Tuesday evening. It gets busy so best to arrive early (we arrived about 45 mins before the launch) A commentary by the RNLI staff was very informative and interesting.

While driving in the area, we saw a sign for the Bembridge Windmill and decided to take a look. Parking was outside a gate and walk in through a wide smooth path. Very well preserved tower mill used for milling corn for animal feed, with 4 magnificent sails. Due to time constraints we could not go in, however the kids had some ice cream sold at the little entry shack.

This was the first time I've been out fishing on a boat so I was a little apprehensive. As soon as my sister's and I got on the boat we were made to feel super welcome. Chris and Adam are great guys with years of experience who instantly made you feel welcome onboard. The trip takes you out onto the Solent with beautiful views of both Benbridge beach and Seaview. As we moved out of the harbour we got up speed and come towards the sea fort where we started fishing. Adam and Chris were super helpful explaining how to fish for mackerel. Nothing was too much as they helped with tangled lines or landing the fish. A great two hours out at sea where you get to see all types of boats. Once back in the harbour Adam expertly gutted the catch which we could take home. It's lovely to see such passion and interest in two people who are dedicated to their craft, the sea and the environment.
