Quick stop after lovely lunch next door. Very friendly and knowledgeable Maitland local behind the bar. Great to chat to him about the area and reminisce about Maitland and surrounding areas. Family connections also.
He was very knowledgeable about the wines also!

My family first experienced the Capercaillie Gewurztraminer yesterday afternoon at lunch at The Cellar restaurant Pokolbin and had to find this place. Don’t miss it - their wines are gorgeous- and unassuming Pat is the perfect host - explains the wines beautifully then lets you just relax and think about which ones you truly love. We will definitely be putting this beautiful winery on our favourites list for the Hunter Valley.

Visited Lucy’s Run on recommendation from owner of nearby accommodation. Simple, unpretentious cellar door. Owners were very friendly, accommodating & treated us like old friends. Wine very drinkable with generous tasting sizes. A must visit when in the Hunter Valley!

Allison was a fantastic host and we had a nice selection of wines. There is a beautiful outdoor seating area and we were lucky to have a stunning day. The chilli jam is a must buy!

Well, you don't often visit a cellar door in the throes of refurbishment.....and then be greeted by the winemakers friendly dog! However, Tanya sorted the whole thing out and in a moment we were sitting down with a glass of 'frivolous' sparkling semillon...excellent. Add a slice of lemon and it becomes a lot more serious...even better. Add a measure of gin or vodka...and look out (we didn’t do that though...). The wines here are beautifully balanced. I particularly liked Nigel's Semillon and the double oaked Chardonnay...excellent! A Rose and a Merlt/Cab Sav suitably entitled The Butler were also in the range. Tanja finished the tasting with an excellent Hunter Shiraz and then to top it all off, a taste of something special in a beautifully crafted Shiraz....but my lips are sealed on that! Highly recommended...a great experience. Thank you!

Our first visit to this gem of a winery having visited many in the Hunter Valley over the last 7 years. So refreshing to enjoy beautifully made wines that are a little different and not too expensive all in a wonderfully relaxed setting.
We had attentive service from the lovely Julia and her son Harrison who is assistant winemaker to Dan and even met Dan himself. We didn’t have a cheese platter but they looked good and we enjoyed all of the wines presented for tasting, leaving with 4 or 5 bottles of our favourites.
Plenty of room for kids to run around in the paddock and dogs are welcome.
We will definitely be back for another visit.

Ambience Plus - being escorted from main reception through to the nether regions of Allandale's cast and vat storage facility was almost like a free wine making tour. Our host Lee was very warm, charming and engaging in presenting and explaining the range of wines on offer. Lee took the time to enquire with each of us the types of wine we preferred and made a few suggestions on others that we were less familiar with. A wonderful experience sitting amongst the various stacked wooden kegs just took this experience to another level and we all commented on how much we enjoyed the experience.
Luckily the product and our palette were in some kind of sync and we left happily with a bottle or four under our arms to enjoy at a later time.
    Highly recommended.

Six of us recently stayed in one of Adina's three separate accomodation houses. The great thing about this accomodation is that each couple has their own double bedroom and all have en-suites with views over the winery. Unfotunately, their on-site Emerson's Restaruant was not open for dinner on Sunday night but this was easily solved by arranging for Blaxland Inn to pick us up in their courtesy bus.
Apart for Adina producing their own good wines, there are Allandale, Garttlemen and Petersons nearby just to name a few. Two Fat Blokes and The Deck are also great nearby lunch locations.

Visited with US VIPs for a wine tasting and cheese platter. WOW well done Olivia it was excellent. A super platter and a relaxed informative wine tasting. The wines are really good and represent Hunter styles The Shiraz is a standout. The tourists were blown away. Many thanks for a fun afternoon.

I don't think the wine tasting experience was as interesting as some of the other places, but I loved their sparkling red, which was my favourite of my whole trip. The art gallery was nice for a few mins to look around also.

I’m not going to tell you about Thirsty Pallet. I’m not going to mention how they make my favourite wine in the hunter, as if I did then I would have to share and there wouldn’t be enough for me. I definitely won’t tell you which one of their wines is the best, or that working it out for yourself by giving them all a try would be the best way to guess. I also won’t tell you how lovely the owners are, as you might just be tempted to stop by and see for yourself. Nope, not going to give away this little boutique winery as I want to keep it all to myself, it is my favourite after all.

Wonderful, exhilarating ride with Poncho. Poncho had the perfect balance between chatting with us and giving us our own space. Winery visit was great.

Had the absolute pleasure have having a massage here. Both myself and hubby had 50 min massages. The ladies who gave us the massage, were brilliant. The spa is a beautiful facility at Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley. The most relaxing massage. Hubby fell asleep. Thankyou ladies
