Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I’ve being in dozens of towns around Europe but these is my favorite! Why? Because it’s real! People live here and when you walk those little streets you can see that is a real borgho none a tourist place comparing with Bagnoreggio for example, which is very beautiful but the vibe is totally different.
The old town has a very close parking what makes it very easy to reach, specially with my unconfortable luggage.
The grey stone, the sunset making the most unbeleieable experience puts me this small piece of heaven in the very first place.
You can walk it in 15’. All around. Don’t miss walking to the high wall that surrounds the whole little gem. I’ m soooo glad I came!
In the square outside the wall you can have some pizza gourmet and a resto with typical region food. Enjoy the magic!
All the region deserves more time, very close you have Vitrrbo and Bomarzo but they are huge in comparisson with this tiny little gem.

The Moutan Botanical Center by name and feel may seem a little out of place, as in across the pond with English speakers sprinkled within. As the fullness of spring as not yet upon us, we thought we would see nothing upon arrival, as it was not yet officially open. Hewever, a kind "gatekeeper" let us have a brief walkabout as I played the "but we came all the way for this" card with a smile.

If we were anywhere nearby on a future visit, it would certainly be on the list as it is both lovely and of impressive quality by way of product.

Must say we only stumbled on this when we took a wrong turning. Easily visible as it's on the main road out of the town.. To be honest it looked out of place but does have educational value for those interested in local history and culture.

Wonderful things to do close by. Also Viterbo, Tarquinia, the beach, Civita di Bagnoregio highly recommended. In Vitorchiano the best Pizzaria is La Grotticella.

I stumbled upon this place, it wasn't well sign posted but luckily curiosity got the better of me. A free entrance to a lovely tower in the middle of the town, maybe 130 steps but a comfortable safe walk with lovely views from the top.
