Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- NanohanAMalaysia334 contributionsWent there about 10 years ago and I was amazed with how this old palace was maintained and preserved. I was eager to visit the site again on 12 March 2020 to proudly show my friend from overseas on our royal history. Unfortunately it was closed for renovation until end of this year (found a small notice on the signboard). It was quite frustrating as there was no announcement made on any relevant websites. Nevertheless this is a must visit site whenever you are in Kuala Kangsar. Nearby, you can also visit Masjid Ubudiah, Royal Gallery and a few other interesting places. Kuala Kangsar will never fail you.Written 14 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
