Beginning with his fun personal connection and conversation- to his great knowledge of the towns, villages and destinations.
He made each stop special with helpful tips and advice- especially at the Sass Pordoi - where we took the cable car up the mountain- it was very cloudy but moving- he suggested to sit down for lunch immediately- we did, and 15 minutes later it began to rain, it was soon packed in the restaurant- we finished lunch and it cleared up giving us great vista views and nice hiking. Instantly likable, professional and a wonderful, safe driver on challenging roads. The perfect blend of historical, cultural and geographical insights, all done with humour and interesting anecdotes. - Teresa MIowa City, IA261 contributionsWe did a 4 day, 3 night trek with via Ferrata with Roberto Iacopelli. It was physically very challenging but was beautiful and rewarding. You need to be able to hike up a steep slope to do this. Staying at the rifugios was fun and the food was good.
