I am surprised by the number of Japanese gardens in Brazil. Maybe I shouldn’t be since, on my first trip to São Paulo, I was given a tour of Liberdade, the Japan Town district, which is home to the world’s largest number of Japanese outside Japan. This is a beautiful Japanese garden and has more things of interest to young children than the other Japanese gardens I’ve been to. So far the nicest Japanese garden that I’ve been to is that in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires. Of course, Buenos Aires is many times larger in population and Japanese descendants than Caldas Novas. The Buenos Aires garden was built (or rebuilt, modified and expanded) for a state visit by the Crown Prince Akihito and Princess Michiko of Japan. As with all the Japanese gardens I’ve been to, this is a good place for relaxation, meditation, and reflection. The garden has the typical blend of stones, water, lakes/ponds, waterfalls, fish, plants, landscape, statues, Japanese-style buildings, and Japanese-style pedestrian bridges.

It is really nice water park with different types of pools and slides. Especially when the big full bucket of water is poured over the people. The food is Ok. The Korean massagist is talented but if you are not used be prepared for some pains the next day. The kids would love the park.

I think this is one of the more compact parks in the Caldos Novas area. Easy to park. Reasonable entrance fee and easy to navigate around. Choice of hot and cool pool areas. Reasonable lunch. Clean toilets.

The building is the oldest in downtown and after a reconstruction in 1999 they kept the walls and pillars. It's an interesting place to visit, almost always opened, with an active community of faith!
It's surrounded with places to eat.

Calm and beautiful place to visit and pray.
There are a lot of flowers around the place and you can pray outside and inside the shrine.

Lots of handcraft work, a food court with some interesting dishes, right on downtown. The floor could be more even, but a curious place to visit!

I'd never been to Caldas Novas, and this was a great place to start. The pools were clean, and the slides were fun! I would definitely recommend it! Get there early for the best chairs, tables, and loungers.

    Very good place to visite.
    The cachaças are made artesanal.
They are made in farms and transported in the wood tonels.
If you like cachaças, you will like.
