We have visited many caves all over the world and these are as good as any. When you arrive at the car park, you then take a short bus ride to the actual entrance to the caves. We could imagine that in the height of summer there would be lengthy queues for both the buses and at the entrance. Having... More

So beautiful. This attraction is worth visiting, you will be in awe of how nature is majestic. The tour is very interesting and the guide was very friendly. It has an original boat ride and you also get a train ride. Be careful as it has lots of stairs and equip yourself with a non-slippery pair of shoes.

What's not to like - start the visit on a bus, followed by some walking (250 steps down at one point), then a short boat trip on a Dragon boat and then a train out of the caves. My daughter (11) loved it. We were the only non French family in our group, but the guide took time to us... More

We went to these caves for something to do on a rainy day, and were amazed by them. The cave network is extensive, going down several levels and with many incredible formations. The guide was very pleasant & there was an excellent audio translation in English. Great fun at the end with a short boat ride & then small train... More

This is the best tour of a cave I have ever been on. It lasted 1.5hrs and I think we were very lucky because it wasn't busy on the day. We were also lucky as our guide was a real character. Beautiful natural wonder.

Since 1903, this unique site has been improved and honed into this pure gem of a visit. Both in French of English, guides will take you underground into an incredible visit in time. It can be scary (but not really) at times, I'm 6'5 so I had to duck once or twice. You will see tunnels and caves and amazing... More

Our guide was a force of nature and made the visit into a theatrical experience, which was enhanced by the dynamic lighting in the cave systems. In other underground venues I've visited, I find the use of 'in-your-face' coloured lighting makes the caves seem more like a fairground attraction but here, the lighting was less ostentatious and better suited to... These caves are a wonderful place to visit. Amazing history behind the creation and opening of them to the public too. The guide we had was entertaining and provided some great commentary around the caves. However, with 3 different languages within our group we found the audio information rather outdated in technology. It would have been faster for the group... More

The caverns are pretty , but not outstanding, I have seen nicer ones. But I liked the organization around it: the shuttle from the parking lot to the entrance, the tour itself with the boat and the train all worked in synchrony. Perhaps we were lucky to be there not during the high season, there were no queues at all.... More

I will be honest, we were not convinced about this trip but went along with family friends, and how wrong we were! On arrival we were driven to the top in a bus, then we had an intro before descending 80 m, as we went through lighting and recordings as well as an excellent guide highlighted the shapes and reasons...
