We came here as a group as part of bush tucker tours and were welcomed by a lovely french host who was more than generous with the tastings. We got to sample a vast array of different drops- my personal favourite was the Shepherds Rhapsody. The sparkling red was also very tasty.
We came back the next day to buy a few more bottles and had some more samples and were delighted that we were remembered and treated with the same welcoming gusto as the previous day. I definitely recommend making the stop. Very convenient location just outside of town.

This winery stood out for me as a particular highlight on our Bushtucker Wine tour. Adrian was a great speaker and really engaged the group with his enthusiasm. Loved it here and loved the wines.

We drove to Adinfern Estate for wine tasting and met an impatient and unfriendly staff member when we entered. There was a large group when we arrived and he doesn't seemed interested to entertain us when he saw us entering. He pulled a long face and didn't bother to put on a smile when we tried to strike a conversation with him.

As we saw that there were cottages for rent, we enquired for the price since there was a nice scenery at the vineyard and we were looking for an accommodation. Through the conversation, we found out that the cottages were only for couples and not suitable for family with kids. We thanked the staff after enquiring about the accommodation.

We left shortly after and went to explore the area around the cellar. After taking a few photos, the same unfriendly staff from Adinfern rushed towards us, shouted at us, and demanded that we leave this place. He shouted to us that this is a private property and we should not be taking photos at the place where we stood. There were no signs which says that we can't walk around the area and take photos. We were tourist and had no idea and what we were doing was just taking some photos near the cellar and nowhere near those sheep or the vineyard as the whole area was fenced up! Even if it is private property, he could have told us nicely and not scream and shout at us!

We were here on holiday in Western Australia and definitely did not expect to have an awful experience here! We would NEVER ever step foot onto this place again! :(

Adinfern makes two interesting fortified wines. Actually they are ports but they can’t call them that anymore because the new laws on intellectual property mean that port has to come from Portugal and these, of course, don’t. So the Forte and the Ruby Forte are chardonnay based fortified wines. The Forte is good in a tall glass of crushed ice with a slice of lime and topped with soda. Just sip the ruby forte like you would with a port. Adinfern’s wines aren’t top of the line, and their tasting room isn’t as attractive as some of the other places, but the welcome was warm, the chat was lively and the pours were generous. They make a 100% Malbec which is unusual in itself, Malbec normally being grown to mix in with Cabinet Sauvignon to soften it and help the wine maker get it on the market sooner. (Merlot is usually used for this purpose, but Malbec and Cabinet Franc are also common, both wines being full bodied, soft and fruity.) The Adinfern Malbec is not at all woody as some are. Their 100% Cabinet Sauvignon was well made and delightfully integrated. The Shiraz was a tasty little number. This may not be a big place in production or reputation, but the quality, across a rather restricted range, is up with many of the other procedures, and repays a visit.

Visited this boutique on a tour. Winery produces pretty balanced, quality wines in general though I think they do their whites better. Went back a day later to get a few bottles because we liked their classic white very much. Would recommend to visit them at the cellar door for tastings.

The young man at the cellar door was knowledgeable and friendly, he even remembered us from the tour the day before. As with most MR wineries, we were welcomed first thing by their cheeky playful dog who loves it when you play fetch-the-tennis-ball with him (he has a spare ball in the coat he wears over it).

After visiting this winery on a tour we decided we liked the wine that much we would go back and get a case sent home. Very nice lady there for the tour who was very down to earth and friendly. This time there was a very nice young man there. He was a NSW supporter but we will forgive him for that. From the road you probably wouldn’t decide to visit as it’s only small but well with a stop for the palettable wines and friendly conversation.

This place was lovely! Don't expect all the fanfare of a commercial winery, this winery is boutique and beautiful; the service is very friendly. It goes without say their wines are beautiful too. We ordered a case and it was sitting with Australia Post within 24 hours. We went to a lot of wineries whilst in the area and this was one of our favourite.
