What an amazing place to visit!
I can not recommend this store highly enough. It’s an experience not just a store.
Great coffee and cookies to die for.
I don’t care who you are, there is something here for everyone.
I can’t believe how long we stayed. So much to see. Simply the best store we’ve ever been in. An absolute credit to the owners.

Everything you hear about this store is true. It is totally unique and full of surprises. This is the place to pick up that quirky, one of kind gift or add a collectable to your collection. You could easily spend hours within this store, browsing all it has to offer. Our kids loved it - so much we came back twice.

This is certainly an interesting store selling an eclectic range of products. It’s a great place to browse for unusual gifts and there are small “hidden” and magical areas for kids to explore. There is also a cafe inside Reliquaire. While I preferred the old store before it burnt down in 2015, this is still a must when visiting Latrobe.

Really interesting place to wander through. The teenagers loved it, you need to go back and have another look to process everything.

We had to line up outside and wait till people left before we could go in, I thought this was awesome. However, once inside it was a free for all. Everyone going all directions. No social distancing at all. No markings on the floor guiding to only go in a certain direction. Was very disappointing. The other thing was we tried to go here the day before and were politely told we couldn’t as they do t allow drinks in the store and we had a take away coffee. Felt this was fair enough, till we went today and at the cafe (at the back of the store) they sell take away coffee. 😩 So you can buy a coffee there and walk around with it, but can’t go in with one. They did have sanitiser as you entered, but all in all the rules around Coronavirus are not being upheld in the store. Sad.

It’s been a while since we visited (prior to the fire) and took 2 friends who had never been before. What can I say except wow, wow, wow!!! It’s back bigger and better than ever. My friends we’re ecstatic 😍

We were staying Latrobe for the night and happened to notice two large toy soldiers standing at the entrance of the building. So we as a family went in - woooow talk about a surprise the interior is packed from roof to floor with every type of gift and gadget you could want for. With areas themed - Dr Who, Spooky, Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter etc etc - a fantastic 60 minutes of total well spent time - the cakes and coffee were also very good. Have a look - its worthwhile!!!!!!!

A must see! Spend some time, grab a coffee in store and get lost in the magical maze that is Reliquaire. You can find just about anything there! Super top quality scary stuff for Halloween or parties, jewellery sourced from overseas, top quality puppets, or how about a sward and knights armour? I can't wait to go back!

what was the name of the hotel that was the original business where Reliquaire is.

It was the Stones Hotel, then the Retreat Hotel followed by it then being the Lord's Hotel. After this it was converted in to flats by the Russell family(my father in-laws grandparents) after Mr Russell passed away the building was left to his two daughters who later sold it to the Christie family in the 90's. Hope this helps ☺
