Na Pali Coast State Park starts at the entrance to Ke'e Beach. There are hikes to different elevations but the hikes are for the moderate to advanced hikers. Make sure you wear hiking boots or close toe shoes with traction as parts of the hike...More

My recommendation is to see the Na Pali Coast from air, sea and hike in. You can see my other reviews of the companies we used for air and sea.

The Na Pali coast must be seen by boat to really appreciate the grandeur. We did a catamaran sail through Captain Andy's Adventures and were treated to the most beautiful coastline ever. It is well worth the cost of the sailing trip to view this...More

The Na Pali Coast is absolutely amazing! Be sure to get there early as parking can be challenging. Bring lots of water! You will experience many weather/condition changes. Parts will be cool and breezy and others will be hot and much dryer. Wear good footwear....More

Yes you can drive and hike it. But if you have younger kids that's not always an option. I would be forever worrying about my 10 yr old getting just a little too close to those cliffs or not having the stamina for long hikes....the...More

We did a boat tour with Captain Andy's, viewed from the Kalalau Lookout and hiked the start of the Kalalau Trail. This is an inspiring place. If you do decide to do the hike, check out the separate TA reviews for the Kalalau Trail because...More

Nāpali Coast State Wilderness Park is located on the northwestern coast of Kauai. To get there take the Kuhio Highway (state road 560) east until it ends at Ke’e Beach and then hike into it using the Kalalau Trail. This park is very remote so...More

We hiked here on our honeymoon and would highly recommend the hike that goes from the start to the beach to the waterfall and back. The hike is 8 miles total and is somewhat challenging, but it is definitely worth the views.

Go early and park before the crowds and walk into Hanacapia Valley ... if energy allows walk to the Falls and enjoy the peaceful yet energetic huge beautiful Falls ! alternatively go and enjoy one of the finest unspoiled beaches in the world !

We got to enjoy the Na Pali Coast both by air and by sea. My family kept asking me what was so special about it and I said they just had to wait to see it but watching it on our deck was mandatory! Have...More

I am going to Oahu Hawaii in September and wanted to find out how you get to Na Pali State Park. Is it far to visit from where I am staying near Hyatt Regency? Is there a day tour and food included? Is there morning to afternoon tours? Thanks in advance. Manny..

It is on the island of Kauai, but short flight for day trip. I think it would be well worth it to visit for the day.
We will be arriving on a Princess cruise ship the first of March. Any recommendations for car rental company and where to drive?

Hello, I would recommend you get your rental car through Go-Hawaii, which will link you up with a major car rental company with a good discount. They linked us up to budget which allows you to have 2 drivers for no extra... More

We used Na Pali Catamaran in October (2016) and took the 7:00AM tour. We highly recommend it. Depending on the time of year you go makes a difference too. If October-April, I read that it is only recommended to take a tour... More
