About
Boutique company that produces pisco since 1921 in the Elqui Valley. Crafted from hand harvested muscat grapes of great aromatic quality. Each end of summer, the fruit is first turned into wine to be distilled in ancient copper still pots in a double distillation process. After 12 to 24 months of maturation, the spirit is blended with ultra pure water to adjust alcoholic strength to 40% in a step

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited the distillery with a tour from our cruise ship. The demonstration was interesting, and we were able to sample the Pisco after the tour. They offered three different flavors, and they were all very good. There is also a shop where you can purchase Pisco as well. We bought the Valle Luna brand.

Charming Pisco vineyard, which does free tours that are really interesting. It is a very beautiful place and much nicer, in my opinion, than the bigger mechanised equivalents. The tour guide was really helpful. The Pisco is great.

We had a wonderful tour where they explained about the process of making different pisco. I am not a big drinker but I did enjoy the tasting of the mixes with mango and with blueberry at the end. Our guide was funny and informative. Good deal for 3,000 pesos. We also took some nice pictures across the pond they have there

Arrived after a short bicycle ride from Vicuña. We were able to join another tour group that has just arrived; the tour was in Spanish, if we had needed English we would likely have had to wait. The grounds are attractive, and it's a quite small operation - about 6 stills. They don't export to the US. After the (free) tour you can sample their two house cocktail as well as their pisco varieties, and they sell bottles on-site for reasonable prices, and accept credit cards.
This is less touristy than the Pisco Mistral distillery in Pisco Elqui, and also much smaller than the Capel distillery nearby. They also have a bar outside if you wanted a drink on-site.

Fantastic small pisquera just a 45 minute walk from Vicuña. The tour is free, the guy speaks just spanish but i didn't have a problem to understand, he speaks slowly and offers at the end of the tour some pisco to taste.
Furthermore they had a bar where you could buy some cocktails made with pisco...try Pisco-Tonic, fantastic.

I am from Seoul, Korea and I had a chance to visit ABA Pisquera
and it was the best experience I had in Chile.
It is such a beautiful place and people at ABA Pisquera are very friendly,
After the tour, we were already friends.
Their historic buildings and equipments are also amazing
and that is why their pisco tastes absolutely amazing.
It's been few years since I have been there and I always thinking of visiting ABA Piquera again.

The tour of the pisco making was interesting. It’s rather similar to wineries and scotch production. There is a 10 minute tour in English, and I found it informative.
The guide had good English but was a little oblivious of the group needs, waking faster trying to get rid of his job.
The tasting was very disappointing. They let you taste the cheapest of the piscos, and then trying to sell others you haven’t even taste. How come? Nevertheless, overall it was a good bust.

Did this tour when we hired a bike for the day from Vicuna.
Was a nice pit stop on our ride. Tour was interesting and about half an hour. Our English speaking guide (sorry, can’t remember his name!) was enthusiastic and informative.
At the end of the tour you get to try the Pisco with no pressure to buy.

We stopped here during our private tour from our cruise ship. Our guides gave us a tour of the operation, and then we did free pisco tastings which were very good. Everyone had a good time.

Excellent tour! Tour guide explained everything well. He spoke Spanish slowly enough that we could understand. He also made sure that we were understanding. It was nice to visit a small family operation. We rode our bikes.
