It was interesting to learn about this quite remarkable native of Vicuna. Her home is preserved, and attached to is a very nice and free museum, which gives an overview of her life and impact. There are some descriptions in English.

I went to the museum Gabriela Mistral and was very disappointing that they don't have any information in English. I went with my Aussie mate and he got bored because all was in Spanish
