Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The home of the world-known prophetess Baba (Grandma) Vanga is surely the main thing for which people come to the small beautiful town of Petrich. For 55 years, till her death in 1996, she used her fortune-telling gift to help and heal people not only from Bulgaria but from other countries too. The house where she spent most of her life before she moved to Rupite is very well preserved and obviously very well maintained despite the negligible entry fee of 2 leva (1 €). When you finish with the house and if you have any questions, the lady, selling the tickets, will answer all your questions.
The house is in a quiet neighborhood and it was interesting to see where and how Baba Vanga lived. On display there are also icons, personal effects and photos, the presents given to her by the people she helped and by some famous ones, like politicians, art people and even the president of Kalmikia. Taking photos inside the house is not allowed but in the garden only.
Information in English is not much, so for non-Bulgarians it would be good to make a quick research before visit.

The museum is in the house where Baba Vanga used to live. Rather small place, but worth visiting, even just to see how people used to live in Bulgaria. Entrance is 2 leva only.

This site was made more interesting because I had someone to explain its significance. Not much information availablein English when you arrive so read up first or it won't make much sense.
