Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

A chair lift is going up, not always all the way. In such a case, you have to climb a steep way to the Bezbog lake. But it is worthwhile: fantastic view and fresh air!
Added to the sport you do there is another prize: at the bottom of the lift there is a restaurant. Nice place to rest, wonderful food, good poeple.
we had a fresh fish, salmon on the grill with cooked potatoes with dill. Delicious!
Highly recommended!

Very nice spa, we were here in january, too bad it didn't snow. For 3-4 euro per day (from 9 am to 10 pm) you get access to a great spa. Big pool (some 30x10 meters) with outside temperature (4degrees for us), round smaller pool 50cm deep with some 25 degrees celsius and hot pool clover-like shape, with steps and bubbles at some 45 degrees celsius. Unique sensation to bathe in the coldest pool and then get in tyhe hottest one. Also for great sensations you can have a cold beer in the hot pool. They are still working at the sauna. Also a small 2 person jacuzzi outside. Music, large playground for children, bar at the big pool, mainly accessible in the summer. You leave e spa very relaxed especially after a hard day on the slope.

What better to do in Pirin mountain than hiking. If you end up in Dobrinishte, a must is to go up in the mountain, on the peak of Bezbog (the bulgarian for Without God).
There is a lift going up to the hut Bezbog, a 25min ride for 15BGN (two way ticket). The start of the lift is 10km from Dobrinishte, at the hut Gotze Delchev. A nice road is taking you there and you have the option to walk for about 2h, to get a taxi (ask the driver to come pick you up at the time you want to go back in Dobrinishte) or, if you have a car - just go and park there.
Then you can have a nice hike up to the peaks of Bezbog (2645m) and Polezhan (2850,4 m) - both can be done in 4-5h of a hike with a good tempo.
Going down to the hut, you can have a nice soup. The hut offers a bed as well, for 12 BGN for a dorm bed. Dont expect great conditions though, even the shower is somewhere in the basement. Better go back in Dobrinishte, if its not too late.

In summer you can get the lift up from Gotse Delchev hut (up a windy road) from Dobrinishte. A return trip was 8 lev in August 2013.
The Bezbog area where you get off the lift has a lovely lake, and a bar, where you can relax.
For more dedicated hikers, there is a trail at the far end of the lake which heads around to further lakes. The one about 90 to 120 minutes hike away is stunning, though the path is mostly unshaded and is medium to tough going in places. Well worth it though.
The last lift down is fairly early (16:30 when we were there) so you need to be careful not to get left up there! Worth going up early if planning the hike.

Bezbog hut and the area is gorgeous. The open lift, seat lift, is a treat. Takes you up to the Bezbog hut in 30 minutes in utter, amazing tranquility over beautiful scenery. Lift starts at Gotse Delchev hut, about a 12 km drive from Dobrinishte, in the Bansko area. Bezbog hut is on a lake and the trekking paths around it are beautiful and lovely to take your young family out for the weekend. Now, hiking up Bezbog peak is a slightly tougher undertaking and would not recommend it for inexperienced children or teenagers. They may not enjoy it. It’s a steep and rocky peak unless you know the less steep path.... which we didn’t. I can’t say that the path to the peak is marked very well- whichever one you take. We took the steep one after we got lost. But not too much. For more experienced hikers the hike to peak Bezbog is awesome. Guides say 2 hrs. We were up there in 1 hr and 42 minutes including the 20-30 minutes of getting lost. The best part of Bezbog is the awesome view of peak Vihren, which is so close and commands a central and spectacular sight in the view from the top.

We were there for few days. The rooms are nice, most with single beds. Some of it are with own bathrooms, some with common bathroom. There are also 4 big apartments with double bed.
Food was good, worth the price. Also was very warm in the whole hotel (hija).
There are big common place with fireplace where fun was happening.
The view was awesome every day!

Small old school ski resort, only one lift with two parts to reach almost the top. You feel alone close to the peak. The snow was great and the view magic. My only and main worry was about where my car was parked. On the "side" of the road because to many people get for the size of the parking. They should block the road during the day and create a parking with shuttles. Very good experience.

Do you think it is possible to climb the mountain in early April, or will there be too much snow?
Thanks
