The room was fine but you had to argue about toilet paper that did not provide more than one
The morning food was fine and no abundance to choose from
The dinner was on the face The day before that choose from 3 options and if not tasty do not replace the fish swimming in oil and if I asked them not to fry me a lot of oil did themselves not understand English on the last day I found a hair in food waitress made a face took the food and did not replace it I did not eat dinner, of course, short food without a choice or taste

Generally, it is a good property. It has excellent location - a short walk to the center and to the Roman tomb, The rooms were clean. The breakfast was fine and pretty much everything was available until the closing time. It has a huge parking which is nice.
The negatives - the furniture is pretty old and worn-out. The lady at the reception was courteous to the absolute minimum. Some of the breakfast vegetables were not OK. The kids zone is designed during the Socialism, obviously, and has nothing to offer, except for the "Jumping castle" which is nice for kids between 5 and 10 yo.

The hotel has not been renovated for a long
time. The outdoor pool is dirty and the
indoor pool is not working. The room and the bathroom were dirty. The pillows are old. Towels and bathrobes are frayed.
The bathroom is terrible. The toilet cistern is
damaged. Soul splashes everywhere.
Breakfast is poor and not tasty; old and dried fruits. The price does not match the quality. I do not recommend this place!

From the moment you walk in to the hotel you are welcomed by a completely indifferent, and may I say slightly rude, receptionist who feels like she is doing you a favour by checking you in. She barely answered any of the questions we had and looked at us as if we are bothering her. You are walked to your room by a very sweet older man, who makes you feel a little better about your choice of hotel, and then you see the very old elevators, smelly old hallways and you walk into a room that was furnished sometime in the previous century. You take a shower in a bath tub with no rubber mat, adventurous! And you discover a brown spot on the towel! When calling to ask for a new one, the receptionist tells you someone will come and inspect it!! And then an angry cleaning lady shows up on your door telling you there is no way there was a dirty towel and acting even worse than the receptionist that welcomed you. Unfortunately this was only day one. I honestly would not recommend this place to anyone, and definitely will never come back here!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL
Stayed for a period of 2 weeks.
It is the 2nd time I’m staying in this place and the last one. NEVER AGAIN
The hotel’s condition, the service and the food quality deteriorated dramatically !!!
The restaurant staff are rude and not polite.
There are 2 buildings in the complex. The main one have better rooms and is in better condition.
one of the two lifts didn't work for 12 days during our stay, we heard that is was out for a period of one month.
The service is the SPA and the treatments are OK
The swimming pools are OK and are filled with mineral water
Part of the staff are behaving like in the communist era.
the worst part in this hotel is the restaurant.
The breakfast is quite large. Don’t expect to have hot eggs. The scrambled eggs are cold.
We had light lunch and dinner. In most of the cases the food was not tasty , the cucumbers and the tomatoes in the salads were old and partially rotten. Generally bad quality food.
Many times we got fruit that was rotten.
Don’t even try to complain. The staff are rude and they try to convince you that the food is good and tasty. They will do the utmost not to change the dish even that is not tasty and not eatable.

NOT RECOMMENDING STAYING THERE

despite positive reviews we were very disappointed with this hotel; cleanliness which left something to be desired - very average cuisine, little variety - very cold welcome - swimming pool, spa not very clean.

Overall I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as everything just looks so old. If you’re looking for something quiet and more relaxing, I don’t think this is the place.

Ambience - I felt like it’s a place mostly for elderly. Like home for elderly.

Room - we got the 1st floor therefore it’s very near to breakfast area and it can be very noisy. The facilities look so old

Facilities - they have big pool but it’s not so inviting as it really looks old in reality, doesn’t look clean and the tiles smell so bad that you just want to get out the place immediately. Even the breakfast area, inside look so dark, messy and dirty. When we got there, a lot of people and it can be pretty noisy.

Food - good variety of food but not so appetising due to its presentation or how they serve it on their big tables. They serving instant coffee in a coffee machine.

Staff - didn’t encounter with their staff much so can’t tell anything.

Price - we booked on the day itself, so it can be pricey but not worth it.

Nearby Attractions - it’s pretty near to the park and other free mineral water access.

This is my personal opinion - perhaps other people might like the place but not for me.

A group of us visited this hotel on part of a tour. Rooms are OK. We had a huge fridge in our room which wasn't plugged in - not sure why it was there - no tea/coffee making facilities at all. Cover on the bed was tiny and didn't even cover the top of the bed - not sure if it was a quilt or a thick sheet - either way it wasn't big enough. The hotel is so hot it is unbelievable. We had a small balcony which gave us a view of the patio area which was quite pretty and well maintained. The bathroom was clean and tidy with soap and shampoo provided but no rubber mat. The bath side was quite high and so would be difficult for anyone who has mobility problems. We didn't have breakfast but our friends who did said that it was satisfactory. Cold coffee and cold scrambled eggs which seemed be a problem throughout our stay in Bulgaria but other foods on offer were adequate. We attended a large dance/traditional music evening. There must have been around 300 people. We had chosen our menus a couple of days prior to the event. The food that was brought out was ok but the main course naturally was stone cold so we didn't eat it - there was a dessert which was like a block of sweet sticky concrete so we left that too. Two different bottles of red wine were brought out both of which were undrinkable but the third try was fine. Music and dance were both funny and entertaining - extremely different to anything we have seen previously - all in all an experience - a good one though. Shame about the food but with the large scale of catering I can't see how they would have managed anything else.
