Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is pretty good. And that's basically what this is. Just a big park area with playing fields, a playground and facilities for children and plenty of parking so all the people playing footy on the weekend have somewhere to park. There are lawn bowls and tennis clubs on the peripheries of the place and it's pleasant to stroll around. There are some outdoor gym equipment pieces here for those so inclined though the main activity during my visit seemed to be dog walking.

I love the Dendy park walking area as it is so dog friendly. There is an excellent amount of off-leash area so both doggies and humans can get some exercise and the socialising aspect for dogs is excellent. It’s great to be able to throw a ball for your dog on a large oval as well, very good exercise area.

Named after Henry Dendy who acquired 5,129 acres of land which is now Brighton in 1841 and lost the lot a few years later, this park was a former tip and is now a signifcant and large open space in the Bayside Council area.It is a good park with much open space, toilets, playgrounds and sporting facilities. Having an area of this size is a real asset and other than that it is a fairly standard park..

This is not a tourist attraction. It’s a sports oval for kids. It is large and it is also a great place for dogs to run around. There are minimal facilities for a bbq or picnic. There are much better places to visit if on a holiday. As I said it’s great for dogs. Please pick up after them.

The Park has several well-kept cricket ovals including a nice turf wicket. Watch out for dogs running onto the ground, however - it appears that not every dog owner owns a leash.

Dendy Park is quite large and has much of it devoted to organised sports and those with fences around. That said, there are walking trails and open areas for walking, too.

Good for just relaxing. There's a tennis wall for practising solo, lots of shade, good for on leash dog waling.
