The beach houses look extreme good in photos and it is mesmerizing when you see these from distance. But when you actually reach there you might ask yourself - what's so fascinating about this? Beach is pristine and it's lovely to have a swim. It's only about 40 minutes by train from Flinder street station (main train station in Melbourne). So if you have couple of spare hours, why not to capture some photos!

Attractive area, made especially so with the brightly coloured sheds along the beach. The sand is a little coarse along the vast expanse of the bay. One's length of stay dependent on weather!

Brighton Beach is one of the best and most popular beaches on Port Philip Bay. The beach is divided into several areas. The water is calm and the sand is fine and white. It's a great place for a swim on a hot day. One of the best-known features of Brighton Beach are the colorful bathing boxes. The are often handed down from generation to generation, and often change hands for large amounts.

The beach, although artificial, is a really nice place to visit plenty of walking space and the sea was warm in January. At low tide there are nice rock pools to explore. Brilliant place to sit and watch the sun go down. Toilets located at beach and grass above offers nice picnic spot
