We had lunch at the Perron on our way up the west coast, and it offers so much more than just good food. Art, nostalgia and a collection of memorabilia. We will catch a show on our way back. Tannie Evita is a legend.

This was our second visit for a show and we loved it as much as the first one some years back; what an absolute legend Pieter Dirk Uys is! The only slight drawback was the buffet lunch which was pricey for what we got, but...More

If you travel to Darling, you have to visit Evita se Perron. It is situated next to the railway tracks and can easily be missed if you don't know it is there. This is an eclectic collection made up of an old railway station, apartheid...More

The show was good, would loved to have interacted with Evita more. The platter lunch was enough for two people and drink prices reasonable. Tasted the local beer and watch a few of the video clips around previous shows.

This is a quaint attraction in the small town of Darling. The small historical styled museum is very interesting and has some wonderful items on display. The restaurant is nice although service did take a bit long. This is a must visit when in Darling.

We stopped off in Darling to visit the small theater & meseum made so well known by Pieter-Dirk Uys & his many "spoofs" & his South African political humor which many from overseas may not appreciate. But then many have heard of Tannie Evita Bezuidenhout....More

Popped in for lunch on our way up the west coast. We caught it on a slow day, so less people, thus easy to look around, but became sleepy quickly, opposite of what I expect from Pieter Dirk Uys. We are planning to catch a...More
