Another highlight of our trip to Costa Rica was our day at Selvatura Park. All of us, including my 82 year old dad and 77 year old mom did the zip line tour. Thirteen lines ! The longest line was a kilometer high above the jungle canopy. The walk through the rainforest over the canopy bridges was also excellent. The... More

My husband and I did the hanging bridges with a guide. We went with Juan Carlos who was excellent. He spotted tons of species of birds and had a telescope to help us see them; also various other animals and flowers. He clearly was very experienced in leading a tour and very friendly. The park is very nice and I... More

Our group rang d in age from 7to 70 and he made sure that everybody learned and saw stuff that made sense to them. The physical surroundings are magnificent ....awe inspiring actually. Two of us did the zip lines, and two did the hanging bridge walk. Enjoyed both very much. The zip line tour includes 13 lines and took almost 3 hours to complete. Two of the lines are almost 1 km long each and very high above the canopy. Quite a rush! There is also an optional tarzan swing that involves... More

Recently visited here were we did the bridge walk. Unfortunately it was pouring with rain so we didn't get to see as many animals as we had hoped but we did get to see howler monkeys. Despite the rain the walk itself is easy and just spectacular amongst the clouded forest. You can walk at your own pace and can... More

Our group consisted of 3 50 year onls and 4 young adults. all loved every moment. the guides were great. we never felt rushed. the monkey jump was the best. 4 in our group did the superman also. they liked it but said they would not pay... Very beautiful park. We went to the hanging bridges (without guide) and did the canopy. Next time though I would try to go very early, and with a guide. Locals recommended that to us, since you can see animals quasi only in the morning (but we were too lazy...). The canopy was nice. Note: if you want, you can rent... More

We were a bit hesitant because of the rainy weather, but went ahead with the zip-lining, and were glad that we did. The guides took very good care of our group, and we enjoyed the trip high above the trees. There was much more uphill hiking than I expected, so be prepared for a bunch of hikes bwt the launch... My boyfriend and I spent an afternoon here doing zip lining and then in their hummingbird sanctuary. It was a cooler, cloudy day and rained a bit at the end, but we did not care as we were having a great time! The staff were phenominal, the zip lines were a ton of fun and completely safe. The hummingbird sancuary... More
