I have suffered from Depression, Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder for more than 20 years. I tried various therapies in India, Singapore and in Sydney without any Success. Finally I found out this place and after my first consultation with the doctor, I have been advised with Ayurvedic massages. After my first Ayurvedic massage 2 months back till now I don't have a down day at all and I totally came out from my Depression and Anxiety medication within one month of treatment. My life is totally changed and I feel like completely new person. My energy levels are great and my outlook towards life is very positive. Their facilities like massage room, meditation room after massage are top class and their shower room is very clean like a five star hotel. Main reason for writing this review is if even one person come out of depression reading this I will be very happy as I know how much suffering one goes with these kind of disease. Special thanks to Doctor Vishal, Rita and Michael for taking care of my very well every time I go there and also Binu who is a very good therapist.

The center was amazing. I loved the meditation room to relax and still the body, especially after the massage. I was completely run down. I undertook the two person oil massage.
It was unbelievable. I found the facilities kept in good order and the staff very helpful.
I would recommend this place to anyone.

I have tried many massages in Sydney but this one was the best experience I have had. From the moment you walk into the Centre you feel relaxed and all the staff are extremely friendly. I had a full body warm oil massage plus a head massage and foot massage, which lasted about an hour. I was then able to relax with a cup of refreshing herbal tea. I am not an expert on Ayurveda but can recommend these treatments as both a relaxing experience and as treatment for any aches and pains you may have.

After spending 6 days here undergoing many authentic Ayurvedic treatments I feel like a new person. Rita and her team are very caring professional people that have your health and wellbeing at heart. The Centre is a very peaceful, calm place equipped with excellent facilities. I recommend the Ayurvedic Wellness Centre very highly as the treatments and outcomes I received far exceeded my expectations .

Massage was average. Totally unacceptable bathroom, especially when people are covered in oil. No solid rails, inadequate bath mats, actually there should not be a bath/shower in this type of business. I have had many massages around the world and in Sydney and have never experienced such poor bathroom facilities.

We find the great majority of our clients are extremely happy with our service and facilities, as reflected in the reviews. Most of our treatments don’t need a shower afterwards, as we wipe clients down with steamed towels. However this client insisted on a shower with one of these treatments. We feel the photos posted do not reflect the state of our bathroom facilities, however we are sorry we did not meet your expectations.

I have a $150 gift voucher that recently expired for this centre and they refused to let me use it and were very rude when I called to enquire about it.

We're sorry you're upset by our decision. You called yesterday about a expired gift voucher.
Your gift certificate had a 6 month validation period which expired 3 months ago in January. You also said the gift certificate was given by you to a friend who had failed to use it during the 6 months.
We do have a policy of 1 month grace after the expiry date, but we're unable to extend that period for 3 months. I didn't feel as though I was rude, I was simply conveying the message.
I hope you will understand.

I was exhausted, completely rundown, felt sluggish, irritable, bloated. I couldnt sleep as my mind and bosy were always racing and churning. I thought Iw as a very healthy person. Subsisting mainly on a diet of smoothies and salads, very little meat alcohol, sugar or coffee. I was doing everything we are told to do. Daily yoga, gentle swimming healthy foods but I was yawning my way through life. Constantly exhausted, terrible grey complexion always rushing rushing rushing. never focussed on the present moment - always planning the next thing. rushing the kids to school, to activities, rushing to the shops to my yoga class..... Eventually I thought enough is enough. I had passed the ayurvedic yoga centre nearly every day ofr 10 years and always said to myslef i would drop in for a treatment when i wasn't in such a rush...!
After listening to my symptoms over the phone, Rita advised I have the Abhyanga Oleation therapy - a full body massage using hot oil.
my therapist was wonderful. gently and quiet yet firm and confident. I felt absolutely relaxed and at peace afterwards as I sat in the meditation room sipping delicious herbal tea.
But it was the following day that I really noticed a difference. I sprang out of bed with a clear head, feeling energetic and alive. I was positive, happy, bouyant and energised for the entire day. this feeling didnt last however and I resolved to consult the in house ayurvedic doctor so we could work out how I could feel thi good ona daily basis!
During our one hour consultaiton he advised I have the Panchakarma Detox programme folloed by a course of rejuvenation therapies.
he explained very simply and eloquently that there was no point drawing a beautiful flower on a piece of paper covered in scribbles. To draw a picture, first we must have a clean sheet of paper.
My body and in particular my digestive system had totally stagnated. It was no wonder I was constantly exhausted and miserable.
the 3 day Panchakarma treatment is an extraordinary and wonderful practise. You are nourished with Rita's beautiful light Indian food and teas. you are massaged and steamed and cleansed internally as well as externally.
I have never felt so light and clean and peaceful in my life. It was like reconnecting with my childhood body. Or just reconnecting with the earth. I literally felt the toxins and stagnant energy seep out of my pores as I sat in my littel steam box.
If I could I would have this treatment twice a year.
it also allowed me 3 days of solid peace, reflection and quietness amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Once my system was back to neautral and cleansed I could then reap the benefits of the rejuvenation treatments.
Which I most certainly have.
I now sleep soundly, no more borken nights. I have boundless energy and am alert and focussed. I am no longer bloated or sluggish. My skin glows whereas before it was palid and sallow. My eyes are bright and I cnat remember the last time I yawned!
i cannot thank the Ayurvedic Wellness Centre enough for helping me. It is a totla sanctuary and haven of peace from our busy western lives. I feel conncected with the earth again and myself. Just alive and grounded in body and mind.

The Ayurvedic centre in Bondi is a place you should definitely visit. The staff are very friendly and the treatments offered transport you to Kerala, India. I have been visiting the centre for 18 months and find the whole experience relaxing and rebalancing. Rita the owner will speak with you to determine the best treatments for you and the on site Dr allows you to participate in the full Ayurvedic treatments. For a few hours of complete relaxation and recharging I have the male massage therapy and Marma therapy treatment. Highly recommended.
