We spent the afternoon with my girlfriend and her aunt. We took some tea and learnt about Victoria Ocampo, one of the most relevant women of her time.

It belogs to the UNESCO. Victoria Ocampo had a ver interest view of the future. The place is incredible and its manteinance is excelent. In the gardens you can see the two trees which inspired Antoine Saint Exupery for the baobabs in The Little Prince!

The house is incredible but the story of Ocampo, her life, and her personal library is stunning. You can reserve books to read online. Make sure to eat in the restaurant and try the assorted teas.

This old mansion in the hill above the river was the home of some famous Argentine writer/critic. Interesting to see how people lived here +/-100 years ago. We went on a nice sunny winter day and stopped here on our way back from the Tigre.

Beautiful gardens surround this once magnificent villa. Even though much seems have been done to restore it, it is far from the past glory and left me wondering of the splendor it was described by in history books... The restaurant/cafeteria is of basic standard but...More
