It is worth visiting, mainly for the view and the elevator! It can be less commercial though, many of the shop owners inside the castle only sell products made in China, sold to the tourists as traditional craftworks. Such a shame, they should not be...More

The fortress was able to withstand a 6 month siege and was never defeated. There are over 80 homes inside the citadel. Great view from the top. There is a tram from the parking lot

Great place to visit, I actually preferred this to Bran, it seemed a bit more authentic and was very quiet. We used the train to get up the hill. From the top you get great views, there is a cafe up there and some toilets

This ruined fortress is well worth a visit. We caught the funicular up from the square and walked back down the stairs. The fortifications are well preserved and inside the gate you'll find the inner yard and the heart of the citadel perched on a...More

A beautiful citadel located on the hill at South of Rasnov city. Very well maintained architecture, great views, souvenir shops and places to enjoy a coffee. Easy to access from Brasov on the way to Bran.

I would get in touch with the citadel direct via the website. Personally I would thank him by signing his virtues on the best travel website TripAdvisor.
