2 Mai, an old fishers village, situated on the southern border of Romania. This village is a charming place for nonconformist families who prefer to spend the vacation in a rural place, without luxury restaurants or hotels. There are few lodges but preferable is to...More

2Mai is such a beautiful place. I have been going there for a very long time now. Over the years I've seen a huge increase in tourists which is helping the locals. The saddest thing is that the tourists are actually ruining it. They come...More

A little village on the Black Sea Coast, a few kms away the Bulgarian border, nice beach, never very crowded, a lot of place to play or swim in the water, many places to eat (including some of the local hosts). It has a camping...More

The village is nicely situated near the Bulgarian border. It has nice guarded beaches, but not so big. 2 Mai, even though there is a high season, seems sometimes abandoned. Some clubs and restaurants are closed and seems to be collapsing. But the most important...More

The food is great, the seashore is nice, the people are calm. "2 Mai" (in english it is called the 2nd of May) is a nice place to stay on a holiday with your family. It is close to Vama Veche.

I was here in July with my kid. Nice family beach, with algae in the water (not than many), a few places for purchasing food. Clean water.

2 Mai is a well developed village right by the sea on the road to Bulgaria. It has a relaxed and local feel to it with all the amenities of a tourist resort without being too commercial or touristy. It is about an hours walk...More

If you want to live in a village you should visit this place. It's not modern or fancy, not even a traditional romanian village. Just really cheap and good for people that cannot afford more but still wanna see the beach. Beware of gipsies!
