Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful place, beautiful - but a bit hot/uncomfortable in end of summer. We walked around the area - it always is beautiful. Easy to walk or bike. There is a lot of walking paths, interesting structures to see, and a nice shop at the front selling drinks and ice cream.
The peacocks were not as flamboyant as I’ve seen in the past.
That said - it was still beautiful, still a joy to visit and I strongly recommend spending some time in the museum.

Puławy is awesome and beautful. The palace is amazing. The grounds are great. Take some water - in August it gets hot. I do wish there were some hotels with some AC around, as the buildings are built for winters and hold in heat so the nights were pretty hot.

I went with other newcomers to the palace & grounds. There, an English speaking tour guide (Danka) gave us a lesson in Polish history that I will always remember. She also showed us the grounds and surrounding area (an older part of Pulawy) and I really got a feel for the town I had not yet experienced. Danka was also charming & insightful.
Although the museum itself could use more & livelier exhibits, much of Polish wealth and the display items were taken by or hidden from invaders, which is part of Polish history unfortunately. Still, so much of the history of this museum reflects Poland's history, the parallels are obvious.
I learned a lot. This museum is a must see for anyone visiting or living in Pulawy. It was the first museum in Poland and if I'm not mistaken, the first in Europe.

The Palace looks most impressive - on the Internet. Once you get there (and the net description does not warn you) all they show you is ONE room with a weird collection of stuff - and they charge you for that! The rest of the building is occupied by some offices. There is also a large park around it, but again, no explanation, no guide, no map. Potentially: wonderful. In practice: avoid

A historically important place for Poles. It shows how complicated our fate was. The Czartoryski porsperita was rather related to the pro-Russian and pro-imperial option. The mementoes of the first Polish state were collected by them for several years after the complete fall and the partitions. As a man who knows history, I can say that this is a must see place. However, if I were to tell a foreigner that he was to go to Puławy only for this place, I would think twice. The Palace and Puławy + Kazimierz Dolny are great for such a trip, but never without this connection. Anyway, despite the artistry of what has been preserved, I must admit that the Palace is still not very representative inside. Probably there is no money for it and I understand the need. So the rating between 3.8 and 4.2 on Tripadvisor standards is adequate.

I had no time to go inside, but spent 1.5 hours wandering around the gardens. Lots to discover, peacocks and squirrels, fountains, follies, old chapels, grottos, serpentine paths, and so on. There's a cafe on the river side of the complex.

The palace and park complex is quite famous in Poland - the first Polish museum was founded here. Unfortunately that was a long time ago. The most of the palace is a research institute now, there are only a few rooms with the remains of the original exhibits. The architecture is quite impressive and the exhibition worth seeing. There are several other buildings in the park; as I understand it, some of them are open to public but only one every day. So if you want to enter Åšwiatynia Sybilli (the original museum) you need to have some luck. We had and it was disappointing - there is nothing there to see except walls and a lady guarding the place against tourists who didn't buy tickets. The park is huge, open to the public and not in a good order. There are no signs which way to go to the historical buildings, no information about them, lots of broken glass in some places. You have to pay for the toilet. All in all, Pulawy council should do something about it , the place has huge potencial and could be one of the most interesting places in the area. Now it's rather sad and forgotten.

One of the reviewers wrote that there is only 1 room to see in the museum. Actually there are extra 2 floors to see with interesting exhibits including a sarcophagus with Copernicus's remains (probably fake). Many artefacts but you need to know a bit of history of Poland to enjoy it.

The Czartoryski Palace with its beautiful park and peacocks is the only place why it is worth visiting Puławy. Without it, Puławy could be deleted from the map of tourist attractions.
