If you like to spend time walking in the parks, it is a nice place. If you imagine to see a special, you will not be impresses. The Castle is on the way to Liefmans brewery, so you can combine them.

After the death of baron Liedts in the year 1907, the park and the castle came under the supervision of the city council. And after the second world war the park was opened to visitors, and so it made his first primarily a social function....More

The local castle that I visited on my birthday! It was not the big boulders and stone castle but a modern palace with a man-made little lake, huge garden and classic feels.
