I have been here about 5 times and can say it is the best place to snorkel on the island. Swim out either way. Nice beach and shower facilities too. Free, easy parking and good signs to find off main road. Shade available too.

Almost the entire reef is dead, and, thus, there's almost nothing of interest here except for the occasional stray fish. We left with sadness and even greater concern over the state of our planet. What a shame.

This is a very nice, clean public beach, but I marked it as average due to the condition of the coral reefs there. We have snorkeled all over the Caribbean, and bleaching is occurring on many of the reefs, but this is the worse case...More

Great beach, we spent a couple of hours snorkelling and relaxing here the kids loved it. Not sure why it has had negative comments, it has a visitors centre, beachside showers, picnic tables and lifeguard tower. You'll need to bring your own chairs and snorkel...More

Brought our snorkeling gear and enjoyed an afternoon of snorkeling and swimming. Busy with local families enjoying the day, and tourists doing the same. A great stop if in HOletown.
