Great snorkeling in the "no motorised water sports" area. Basic facilities in terms of showers, changing rooms, etc

This is a good spot for snorkelling of you are in the area. Plenty of fish to see close to shore - especially large parrot fish. It does get very busy at weekends and bank holidays and therefore difficult to park.

We visited here three times on the water taxi from Waves Hotel to the Colony Club nearby, The snorkelling is very good. Whilst not a lot of coral, there is a variety of large tropical fish to view. Well worth an hour or so's stay.

Could hardly believe how much the place has changed. It's so visitor friendly, and just a walk from Holetown, either on the road or the beach.

It was a nice shady beach area. Lounges were available to purchase. Bring table covering for the picnic tables because they are very dirty with mold. Parrot fish was seen while snorkling which were very colorful.

Lovely museum worth a visit and support for the upkeep of the nature reserve. This is an excellent snorkelling place for swimming from shore.

I was there in March 2018, and yes you can hire snorkel equipment. They're also helpful with small lockers to lock up your stuff if you're on your own on the beach and want to snorkel.

There is a reef close to shore. But the better reef is probably 100 yards off shore.
