This beach has the best snorkeling from the beach in Roatan. You only have to swim out about 50 feet to the reef that is in shallow water and great for both beginners and more advanced snorkelers. Absolutely beautiful - be sure to bring an...More

Right off the beach couldn't be any better. Counted 62 varieties. Up close with a moray and saw a spotted eagle ray cruising.

Thanks to the cruise ships and their descending hoards West Bay feels more like Jamaica than the beautiful quiet little friendly gem it once was. Obnoxious vendors and tour operators help to spoil the vibe!! Too bad .....another paradise lost!!

This is an absolutely beautiful beach. There is much to see and do on the beach or you can just relax and take in the rays in your beach chair.

We stayed at Paradise Hotel in the West Bay for 6 days, but rented a car and explored the island. I would say, West Bay is the place to stay (by far)... for the whole experience and having restaurant options. However, it is inundated with...More
