If you are taking a cruise into Roatan , West Bay is THE place to be....Mayan Princess has about 100 loungers right on beach reserved for this purpose.

We very much enjoyed our day at the Mayan Princess. It was actually a separate beach adjoining the resort. We each had a lounge chair and umbrella. The water was clear and beautiful. There were several restaurants from which to choose for lunch, which was...More

Too many vendors, but well worth it for the food, beach, pool, etc. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely do this again.

Very clean and beautiful beach, with water activities available. Drink service was excellent, food at the buffet was pretty good. Nice cruise excursion. The shuttle ride to get there was a hair raising experience, but we survived and had a great time.

Our taxi driver dropped us off at the beach. The hotel might be nice, we never really saw it, just a snack bar and changing rooms. Activities are available on the beach, but be prepared to pay for them and to tip the providers. Roving...More

We stayed at this resort for a week; the staff made our visit lovely. In the condo section, it's not 5 star, but it's clean and the hospitality made up for any lack of luxury. Food was good, 3 restaurants to choose from so lots...More

From the port, Taxis are $100-$120 roundtrips and it takes 30 minutes. This was a better option for us than the Shuttle because we wanted to go directly to the beach. If you like shopping the shuttle from the port takes you to a shopping...More

We came here on a cruise excursion and it was terrible. There weren't enough chairs on the beach so we had to sit near the bar. Wait staff stopped to ask if we needed anything twice in four hours. The second time, the waiter took...More

I was a guest at the Mayan Princess and got to meet many day pass guests coming from the cruise ships. They all raved about the beauty of the facility and the enjoyment of smooth sand and crystal clear waters.

Beautiful beach, great staff who look after you and your belongings, loungers, drinks, food, awesome snorkeling, all for $35usd per person including taxi to and back. Would definitely do this stop again.

I bought directly from the resort and yes they were much less than a shore excursion or from cruise ship. They also had transportation just for us which arrived an hour before the guests from the cruise ship we were on.
