We've visited multiple times and it's always great! This is my favorite place to snorkel, and we've been all over the Caribbean. You walk straight out from the beach, on the right side of the slide and snorkel until you get tired then get out to have lunch and a wonderful beach massage! Few beach vendors, but I did buy... Tabyana Beach is renowned for its crystal blue waters, powdery white sand and welcoming shade palms. If you had to design your own version of a perfect beach, this might well be it. Located in the West End, it's about a 40 minute ride from the cruise port, and absolutely worth the drive! We spent most of a day on... More

When we first pulled up to Tabyana Beach, we questioned whether we were in the right place. After walking down to the beach, we realized not only were we in the right place, we selected the best place to spend our day! The water was warm, the sand was soft, the drinks were good. For extra, you can purchase water... More

If you have the opportunity to visit Tabyana Beach, on a Ship excursion, do so. Spend the $. It's private for cruise ships only. The ride about 45minutes. It was breathtaking. And the beach, well ran and organized. The staff there did everything possible to make sure you had a great time, from beach service to supervising bags to having... More

It is about a 25 minute drive from the port to the beach. As our driver said, make sure your driver is a PHD (Pot hole dodger). Do not sit in the seats over the wheels. Once you get there it is great. There are some changing rooms and bathrooms. There are a couple of shops and a lunch buffet,... More

We spent our day in Roatan on Tabyana Beach and is was perfect. The sand is soft and warm, there are plenty trees that offer shade to those of us northerners that burn in 15 minutes and there is a convenient bathroom and changing room very nearby. The part of the beach that was part of the excursion has a... More

We had visited Tabyana Beach many years ago, where I experienced snorkeling for the first time. When I saw Roatan was one of our stops on the cruise, I knew we had to go back and try snorkeling again. Although Tabyana Beach has grown and become more commercialized than we remember, the snorkeling did not disappoint! Beautiful, clean, and so... More

We booked a beach stop while on a Royal Caribbean Cruise. The transportation was good, the beach was lovely and felt safe. There were too many vendors on the beach, hawking souvenirs relentlessly.

Tabyana Beach is awesome. Great snorkeling here right off the beach. I really appreciated the guys in kayaks that would take you out to the reef and show you the sights. They fed the fish from the kayak so you couldn't help but see some fish. Our guide took us all the way out to the 85 foot drop off.... More

We so enjoyed our time at Tabyana Beach. Part of this excursion includes "security" -- there are security people in each section of beach chairs and they make sure your things stay safe. They also keep the vendors from approaching you--the vendors can approach you only along the shore but not up the beach as you relax in your beach... More
