Lovely large sandy beach. Didn’t see any litter which is good. Lovely fish sculpture made of plastic bottles collected from sea on sea front so they obviously have a scheme going on for litter.

Just a lovely location to visit and spend time. Plenty of free parking, lots of room to explore the large beach. Nice shops and restaurants on front, could see the local community keep good care of the location, very clean and well maintained.

Yes, you can see the petrified forest just to the right of the toilet block, as you look towards Saundersfoot at low tide. You are allowed to take your dog on that part of the beach and walk through to the start of Saundersfoot beach but then you have to come off and walk along the Strand as dogs are not allowed on the main Saundersfoot beach during may to September. Otherwise you can go on the beach at the New Inn end and walk towards Marros, which is dog friendly
