We went to the waterfall before and after rainy days and it was obviously much more impressive after the rain. Lovely place to go for a walk. Took our dogs on one outing but stopped as there are too many ticks. If you want to...More

Beautiful waterfall. We hiked to the top of the waterfall and to the lower part of the waterfall. Would have enjoyed a longer hike.

The pools above the waterfall are the best. Definitely worth the five minute hike to the top falls. Let the water rush over you. A pity that by April the falls were dry but in October they were outstanding

Felt like paradise when you reach the waterfall! It's not a big waterfall but it's great to take a swim around it and in it

A bit of a scramble to get to the upper falls where 1 or 2 people can bathe in the pools. Better to go when there has been some serious rain.

After a short hike up to the top waterfall one is rewarded with various pools to swim and relax in. The water is the perfect temperature to cool off on a hot day.

We managed to visit the Tulbagh Waterfall after some good rains. You walk either to the lower waterfalls, which is easy on a well maintained path. You can also walk up to view the waterfall from the top with gorgeous views over Tulbagh Valley. Be...More

Hi Derek, you need to obtain a permit from the Tourism office in Tulbagh. They will then provide you with a map. Best time to visit will be after some good rains.
