The building, in a typical Cape Dutch style, date back to 1804. On arriving the tour and tasting procedures were explained and each person received an information booklet on all the beautiful furniture on display. They have an unbelievable collection of old gramophone’s on display...More

Few visitors, helpful and very pleasant guide. What a delight to be able to walk around this interesting museum w/o attendants in any room and to be able to taste lovely wines with accompanying snacks in the old cellar - just pouring your own wine!...More

For a small fee the wine tasting includes a snack pack with suggested food pairings and a self-tour through the museum. You can set your own pace and do the museum tour and the tasting at your leisure.
