90 minutes scenic drive north of Cape Town, Tulbagh has many fine examples of Cape Dutch houses from the 18th and 19th century, plus a collection of winefarms and fine restaurants.

A walk along Church Street is quite an experience as each of these well- maintained buildings has a story to tell. So many of them bear the plaque indicating their National Heritage status and Tulbagh can be justifiably proud of its Cape Dutch roots.
