Beach very clean, formed of shingle and small pebbles. Larger pebbles at water edge changing to clean sand after a few feet. Shallow water, crystal clear and warm enough to swim in October. Beach bars and restaurants right on the beach. Lovely place

Mid October is extremely quiet, all bars along the seafront close, but still warm during the day but cooler at night ! Corfu Town busy as usual & open all year !! Great if you want a quiet break

The area nearer town can be noisy and further north is much better - it is a long beach, find out where the hotel is.
