Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited Robyn Rowe Chocolates today to discover preparations for a celebration to rebrand.

Murrumbateman Chocolate Company will now encompass both Sweet Pea and Poppy and Robyn Rowe chocolates.

Don’t panic, chocolate ranges under these labels are still available for purchase in store or online. The exciting news is that a whole new range of cocktail chocolates have been developed. Think sparking Chardonnay, pink gin, whisky, Shiraz to name a few. They are amazing!

Murrumbateman Chocolate Company will continue as our family favourite destination and a great reason for a drive in the country.

Robyn Rowe Chocolates is located on the road between Canberra and Yass. There is a well signposted turn off to the property that is 12km off the main road. The trip to the farm was well worth the drive as the chocolates are delicious. There are many to chose from and the staff were very friendly.

We stopped at the Murrumbateman Chocolate Co to have a coffee and taste some chocolate. We had booked the chocolate tasting online and the friendly staff was expecting us. The weather was excellent, so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the garden with views over the pond. The outside area also has some games available to keep the little ones amused while you are tasting the excellent sustainably sourced chocolate, paired with indigenous herbs. A real discovery. Would recommend this place to anyone in the area, specially on a nice day.

Well I can’t rate the chocolates because I refuse to buy any. Why? The place is kilometres off the main road. They sell drinks but the toilet was unavailable for use. The excuse ‘we can’t keep it clean because of COVID’. This was the first place we came to that used that excuse to save themselves the bother of cleaning. I put it under the heading of bad service. For your comfort o wouldn’t recommend coming all the way out here.

GPS struggled with this address but it is signposted off Barton Hwy, fair way along the road but again a sign on the road points you to the driveway. Did try to phone to get directions but they don’t answer their phone or return call if message left.

Pleasant ladies and knowledgeable. Good range of different flavors all made on premises. Little on the expensive side at $2.50 per chocolate. But we still came away with a few each to taste. Toilet clean and handy.
They also offer coffee, tea and hot chocolate to have on premises with some sweet cakes. Unfortunately we were time poor so couldn’t take up the opportunity to sit on their verandah and enjoy some sunshine.

We visited the Murrumbateman Chocolate Co on Friday as part of our Amazing Co Mystery Picnic. The young lady who looked after us was just lovely and very helpful. Was nice to have chat and to see a venue we can come back to visit. Looks like a nice location.

We loved our afternoon tea and chocolate tasting at Robyn Rowe. The perfect afternoon outing - excellent staff, delicious chocolates and a beautiful setting. We had three generations in our group and they all loved the visit.

We’ll be back for chocolate :-)

This week our family enjoyed a delightful visit to Robyn Rowe Chocolates under the new ownership of Yasmine Coe.
It was great to meet Yasmine, who was charming, friendly and has clearly committed to upholding the quality and values of its previous owner.
Same lovely staff, same quality chocolates plus a whole lot more in terms of products and gifts. We enjoyed an absolutely delicious morning tea of fresh chocolate cake and lemon drizzle cake, looking over the beautiful verdant countryside. The children were thrilled with their children’s hot chocolates. Naturally we stocked up with handmade chocolates before taking the scenic journey home.
A visit to Robyn Rowe Chocolates is a wonderful escape from the everyday.

Very disappointed by the lacklustre service, staff were rude and unwelcoming. Samples were half empty.
Understanding they are handmade they were very overpriced and too much filling to chocolate ratio.

A country drive will take you to this delicious place. Be careful of the many birds feeding on the side of the road. Robyn and team make the most gorgeous chocolates (salted caramel is a fave). Through a glass window you can watch them work to create these delicacies. Blankets and games are supplied.
