Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a lovely little place to have a intimate ceremony. Amazing view, however very limited parking is available.

We stopped by to see such a church and surroundings. We loved the views and the church itself. If no cars drive by the area is so so peaceful.

We stumbled across the open air cathedral by spotting the brown tourist road sign advertising it. It’s only a couple of kilometres off the main road and we were so pleased we found it. We’ve never seen anything like it, so it was particularly memorable.
Beautifully maintained and there are stunning views over the valley below. It would be a magnificent place to have a wedding. There is a donation box there if you want to leave a couple of dollars.
A truly special place.

The open-air chapel sits on a steep hill outside the village of Bexhill and offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and forests, and is worth a stop if you a passing by. It is fairly exposed to the elements, though; I wouldn't like to sitting through a service here on a sweltering or a blustery day. And when it comes to outdoor chapels, in my view runs a distance second to the Green Cathedral on Wallis Lake, near Forster.

What a beautiful setting for a church. The seats (rounded logs) get a little uncomfortable after a while, but what a great concept.

Not far off the main drag at Bexhill you'd possibly easily miss the small sign to the open air cathedral, also the sharp left after the turn off, a good stop to stretch your legs & possibly a coffee break (coffee is available at the nearby shop on the highway) not a lot to see, but very peaceful & popular for weddings

If you are visiting the Northern Rivers & going for a drive to soak up the scenery the Open Air Cathedral is well worth the visit to enjoy the beautiful view of Corndale Valley & beyond. A peaceful place to sit, think & clear your thoughts. I have lived in Bexhill for 27 years & for me it is a much loved, inspirational spot. Only 10min drive from Lismore or 30min from Byron or Ballina

Just love the view from this beautiful Open Air Cathedral near Bexhill. There is a small parking area and a short walk through the open air church to the viewing point. The views is of the Corndale Valley with views of the Nightcap National Park in the distance.
The Open Air Cathedral was built by the Bexhill Christian Youth Fellowship and has been maintained by the church for over 50 years.
it is a beautiful spot for an outdoor wedding or a place to come and sit and enjoy the magnificent view.
