A huge art park in the middle of nowhere
Jul. 2020
A huge park in the middle of nowhere. It is seeded with various strange objects, those who are deep into arts or those who like to instagram their trips may find it a very attractive place.

I assume it won't be easy for a foreigner to reach here, and to walk around, so hire a guide just in case.

What was the most impressive to me is a small cafe deep into the park. Funny people around, looking like Rasta people, those I would expect to see somewhere in Christiania in Denmark. They did make the day, plus their food tastes good.

perfect place for a wedding!
Jun. 2019 • Couples
Nikola Lenivets is the place me and my future husband met during Maslenitsa last year. We decided to celebrate our wedding here. It was the best decision we could have made. The catering team, the tour guide, the fire guy all did an excellent job! They've helped with a perfect menu for the wedding & good entertainment for the guests. The wedding could not be better. Our Families loved it; we really enjoyed; and the Nikola lenivets team helped us with everything for really affordable prices. Thank you!

One of the best places near Moscow
Jul. 2017 • Friends
For my taste, one of the best places near Moscow– as to the nature nature (refers to national Park "Ugra"), as to historical past (it is about in these places – actually a little further – occured the famous "standing on Ugra") and as to modern human creativity. Europe's largest art park, rather the park of art installations, created with great taste and sense of beauty, has only very few parallels in the history of modern art. Approximate one was a colony of artists in Darmstadt – I mean the spirit, the atmosphere of individual and collective creation of new currents in artistic life, but not similarity, and certainly not borrowing. What they're doing, Russian and foreign architects, designers and artists, it is difficult even to describe. This is a permanent, uninterrupted session of creative individuals, each of which in a manner completely unlike the other. A spirit of carnival and festivity largely supported by festivals like "Archstoyanie", which this year took place from 21 to 23 July and for which we actually arrived. It was the main reason or rather the purpose of the trip and all other trips in the area became merely a side addition.
This is definitely a must see. The art park has evolved so much that turned into a full-fledged art object, and almost "mastered" a big part of 600 acres reserved for it. Except that clearly appeared the taint of commercialization, which previously was only weakly smacked. At least they introduced the payment for visit, which did not exist before.
You have to go from Kiev highway towards Medyn', in Kondrovo to turn to Ceni and Ostrozhnoe, on the big crossroad turn left and before Zvizhy – right and drive down the hill.

Amazing place to visit ( winter or summer both seasons are exelent)
Jan. 2016
Amazing place to visit ( winter or summer both seasons are exelent). Very cool Art objects on area about 10 square kilometers, a perfect route on country skis (a ski tracks organizers making), small huts "Clever" will be necessary making fire for hitting in the winter which is adds romantics, second flor it's a bedroom. The lodge a double clever - is fine for 4 people (a shower, a toilet, the kitchen and the general room divided by a curtain). There are still numbers in the stone house, but we prefer to stop in clevers and double clever). Beautifull nature, historical places (vilage of the Stone Age) church, pagan temple)

Worth visiting, but be ready to meet some challenges)
Jun. 2015
The place is quite attractive, huge and impressive art objects are a bit far away from each other, some also lack signs with directions. Still it is worth seeing! The objects are a good place to take photos, espesially on a sunny day or during a sunset. I'll try to summirize my experience with the following pros and cons of this place.

Let's begin with pros:
- really big territory with attractive art objects (some are really impressive, others... may be not for my ordinary mind)
- beautiful nature
- wide range of places for staying (from camping to a small hotel)

Cons:
- really hard to reach the place (we went by car, and to say that the roads are bad, would be a gross understatement)
- the objects are quite far from each other, which makes inconvenient visiting without car
- wild nature...it is an advantage and lure of this place, but be ready to meet many insects (from mosquitos and gadflies to ticks (by the way, one tick bit me, but was successfully removed). Also we saw three snakes, but have no idea whether they are dangerous)
- the hotel we stayed in had a very loud second floor (I mean when somebody walked there, it seemed that an elefant was walking above our heads)... also the water in the hotel had a strange smell.

Brilliant!
Jul. 2014 • Friends
An awesome place with pretty interesting installations scattered across fields and woods (!). You can literally be walking in the woods, in the middle of nowhere, and bump into an installation.
I was there during a festival and mostly walked around at night, which made it all look even more magical.

On a more practical note, there's camping where you can rent a tent along with a sleeping bag. And there's shower cabins, cafés and even a farm where you can try yourself at gardening
