Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

From Makassar, one must go to Desa Lembanna, a village at the foot of this mountain. You can take a taxi, will cost you about 550,000 Rupiah. The cheapest is by bus around 150,000 Rupiah. However, you have to go to Daya Bus Terminal first from Makassar City. Almost 3 hours ride for both transport.
At Desa Lembanna, you can stay at the local's house. There will be plenty of local students staying at the villagers houses. You can ask them to show you which one is for stay. I stayed at Pak TaTa's. You will be sleeping on the floor and the toilet has no hot water bath.
On the hiking side, the track is gorgeous. Springs running just beside the hiking track. You can simple drop down and drink from the spring wherever you choose to stop. The pine tree forest is serene, the mossy forest is refreshing and the temperature is around 15 - 25 DegCel, perfect for hiking.
Enjoy the hike!
