The entire weekend was magical…. from the POETS Progressive Dinner through to the Vine + Dine Journey Lunch and of course our Sunset Chalet. Robert & Therese, the Vignerons, have so much passion and we delighted in the many 😉 wine tastings. Their chef Lisa put together true pairing degustations - mouth watering. And Jesse’s hosting skills and personable nature was appreciated. Thank you everyone 🙏

Thank you Therese and all of your team for a wonderful lunch experience.
From the moment we contacted you about the lunch booking until leaving after enjoying our time with you on the day, everything was excellent.
The tour through the vines was informative, interesting, and entertaining. You shared your knowledge and passion for all things wine related in a way that we could all follow and your mix of traditional and innovative ways of growing your grapes is amazing.
We loved the elegance and history of your beautiful building which is a perfect place to enjoy fine wines and dining.
The five courses and their paired wines were outstanding and again the descriptions of each element provided by you and chef and the accompanying anecdotes were captivating and really put our taste buds on notice.
All the attention to detail made for a perfect experience for us. It was so hard to pick a favourite course or wine!
But so easy to know that we would be taking home a selection of wines along with the lovely memories from our visit to the Heritage Estates. We plan to visit again and highly recommend others visit as well.
Kind regards
Eileen, Marion, Alan and Ian

I came to check out Girraween NP but had to do a wine tasting while in the Granite Belt - it would have be wrong not to! I chose Heritage Estate Wines when I saw the big billboard on the side of the highway telling me to turn left - simple as that. I enjoyed a tasting of 5 Heritage reds at the bar and had a good chat with the sommelier who was well versed in her red wines & went away with a bottle of Nero d’Avola (native grape to Sicily, similar to a Pinot Noir). I had a wander through the restaurant building which had a wonderful ye-olde ‘to the manor born’ traditional feel with rosewood leather tables and fireplaces. The vineyard is just outside.

We stayed in the heart of the vineyard and also enjoyed the progressive dinner on the Friday evening
The views were amazing; food excellent; hosts were informative and friendly but the wine took first prize with amazing variety and vitality

Terrible service. We had a reservation for four, and we were not met with welcome. When ordering, we inquired about sides of chips as we had hungry teenaged children dining with us were told that this is not on the menu, although many other tables had chips on their table ??? After a decent wait, Two meals arrived, two meals didn’t. No explanation as to why. There was obviously a problem, as other diners were also left without a meal. Two of our party of four had finished, plates cleared and we were still waiting . Still no explanation.
We ended up leaving, hungry . Very dissatisfied.

Hi, sorry to hear that you had a poor experience. No excuses for the service, obviously we just screwed up. No gentle way to put it.
I am not sure about the chip issue. We currently don't even own a deep fryer having made the decision to not compete with the casual dining establishments nearby.
Sorry again.

Booked the progressive dinner around the vineyard as a surprise for my husband. I am not a wine drinker myself but I really enjoyed the whole experience - lovely knowledgeable hosts, glorious food and amazing wine.

We have had numerous tastings at Heritage Winery over the years, mostly in winter and keep returning for our favourite wines. Last week we brought 4 friends with us and as it not as busy at this time of the year, we were able to have a good look around and introduce our friends to our favourite Heritage wines. We stayed for an absolutely delicious lunch and more wine. We had such a great time that we returned the next day so we could all try something different for lunch and on both days at fun trying out the tunes on the Pinola . We received a lovely welcome from Therese on both days and spent time chatting with her and the staff all about Heritage Winery and the wines. Highly recommend a visit and we will definitely return again.

We are so happy that you really enjoyed your visits. We love it when people enjoy the full Heritage Wines experience. Check out Jazzify on the 3rd of December. Great music and New Orleans inspired menu - should be a hoot! Cheers from the Heriatge Team

From the moment we arrived at Heritage Estate Winery we were treated like old friends returning home. Michelle explained our tasting and dining choices then settled us in with a glass of bubbles. We soaked up the ambience on Chesterfields with light playing on Crystal glasses and vases, whilst Vivaldi’s Four Seasons serenaded in the background.
Shortly afterwards we were warmly greeted by the Owner Therese who took us on our guided winery tour. After a leisurely stroll through the vineyards and roses, we were escorted back to our table overlooking the vines for the 5 course degustation with matching wines.
If I had more time, I’d rave about every tiny little detail but I’ll leave you a few surprises to thrill and delight first hand.
Suffice to say, Chef Chris is a genius. Each course was perfectly cooked, ingeniously balanced and most importantly supremely delicious. My husbands favourite was the Red Emperor and mine the Beef Cheeks. In fact the food was so good we returned 3 days later for duck a l’orange and emu balls from the A la carte menu.
Now for the wines. No wonder they win so many awards! Matt’s favourite was the Vermentino and although he tried others, at the end of our trip he called it the winner. The Syrah came in at Number 1 for me and their Moonshine Madness ‘espresso martini’ liqueur came home with us too for perfect Affogatos at home. Naturally we joined the wine club.
Highly recommend a visit to experience luxurious Olde World charm and ambience, wonderful service, fabulous five star food and award winning wines.

Wow, thank you for putting the time into writing such a complete review. We work pretty hard here so it makes our days worthwhile to know that we have made yours better. Maybe we are seeing you at one of our Country to City food and wine events in the next couple of weeks? We hope so! Cheers from the Heritage Team

While we have tried many of the wines before and there are some definitely worth trying, the service is so poor and disorganised.
$10 each for tasting with taken off the price if you purchase wine.
After 10 min, we were given glasses, an extremely small tasting (smaller than I have ever experienced before). We waited and waited but no further service some 15 min later. Needless to say we purchased a bottle and left… no realisation / apology that they had not attended to us.

Sorry it has taken nearly a year to respond to your review. The $10 fee is pretty standard and much lower than many other wine regions. The tasting is definitely free if a bottle is purchased. 10 to 15 ml is the industry standard for tastings - partly to keep patrons safe and able to recognise what they enjoy (i.e. not innebriated)
I am truly sorry you had a wait - you neglected to say whether we were extremely busy on the day. Like all regional businesses we struggle with staffing and, if you arrived for a tasting at peak times (i.e. Lunch) then service can be difficult. Perhaps we should have forewarned you of this and suggested a tasting at another time.
