Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There’s a lot to like about this place - cool industrial space tucked away in a residential dead-end in a seemingly trendy suburb. Staff were great and really focused on good service. I liked the notice board that told you all about the beers on tap, and the fact that you could see into the brewing area itself. But in the end the beer was, to my taste anyway, a bit average - this could well be just a matter of individual taste though and so if you are in the area and keen for a fresh tap beer, I would recommend you make the effort to stop in and give it a try.

This morning I was cycling with my son to school I saw the Young Henrys delivery van drive into the bike lane on Wilson st Newtown to overtake another cyclist. They want to capitalise on the cool location of Newtown with their Newtowner beer but show no respect to the local cyclists.
Newtown residents and cyclists should boycott spread the word about this foul behaviour !!!

Although Young Henry's can now almost be purchased in every bottle shop, still a popular place to visit for those looking to quench their thirst (personal favourite is the Newtoner). Lots of foot traffic, not sure why they close so early on a Saturday!

The brewery is set up to make beer and serve it to those afficioandos who will travel there. There is no food service... BUT - you can pop outside to any of the many restaurants on the main drag and bring in takeaway. This worked very well and makes it easier to stay longer at the brewery.

After a walk nothing better than a beer and there isn’t too many beers as good as the Young Henry Newton’s

We had a well planned pub crawl day with our friends today that included 4 breweries where the last stop was Young Henry’s, I wish they chose another venue because it ruined our night. We were a little behind our group that went in before us and ended up being stood up at the door at 6 pm at night saying they have reached capacity. Whilst we were kept waiting, the 20 something year old too full of herself person that was allowed as gate keeper let her friends in in front of us. She has been very rude and accused us of having angst, it is only natural to feel frustrated after an incident like this on a casual Saturday. I will blame the management and the unprofessionalism of the establishment to allow someone like that at the door insulting customers. I would totally not recommend anyone to go there and also will cease consuming their beers elsewhere going forward. There are so many nice craft breweries in Sydney where you get great service and great beers, unfortunately this is not one of them and I would definitely recommend to stay away.

Nice crowd, very mixed. Good vibe in general. Local brews made on premises. Good and tasty variety. Usually a food stall there on weekends with good accompaniments to your beer. Worth a visit.

What a Brewery!! What an experience!! Bartender AL (female) was so knowledgeable and took me on a journey through the Young Henrys Experience! Good vibes, great music and delicious beer all round (and Gin too!). Everyone that boosted whilst I was hear was enjoying the experience.

This place is just off the busy Enmore Road, not far away but enough to be in a quiet area. They have lots of tables and they do allow people to bring their dogs, as is the case with most breweries around here and Marrickville. Staff were friendly.
They like to focus on lagers and dark ales, they don't offer much in the way of pale or fruity ales but they had 1 or 2 on tap when I was there. They often make a few specialty beers which are only available at the brewery. I wasn't a fan of many of their beers, I found most of them a bit bland or harsh, but I would prefer to support a local business than the big breweries, so if I ever see their beers on tap in a pub next to the big profit beers I'll support the little guys.

Great beers and laid back chilled out atmosphere. There are about 3 big dogs chilling with what seems to be the staff/ owners. I even had the first beer on the house for no apparent reason except “Welcome to Young Henrys”, how nice.
Free wifi and water is available for self service as well. Beers come in smaller sizes, full pint and seems like tasting paddle is available as well. Closes at 7pm so do make a trip out to this part of town even if you don’t stay here.
Part of the ale trail so pick up your trail map here.

Hi guys!
I am really confused searching Sydney nightlife as all higher rating nightlife spots are bars and not dance clubs.
Can you please suggest some good dance night out place that offers good music and ambience and easy on the pocket too.
Thnx in advance 😊
