As Cyprus is called Aphrodite's Island that is simple must do. Located mere 10 km or so east from Pafos, could also be reach by bus (route 631). Not far from there is Aphrodite's Temple (open 9-5). To tick all main Aphrodite atraction you also need to go to Aphrodite Bath which is located ca. 45 km NE from Pafos.... More

Aphrodite,s rock did nothing for me it is just a series of rocks that you look down on from the road. We did six day trips and every one took us to the rock .

If you plan to go to Paphos you must stop at Aphrodite's Rock, it is truly breathtaking! We didn't think you'd be able to get on the actual beach near the rock so we didn't bring our swimwear, my one piece of advice would be to not make that same mistake.

It's a rock. It's in the ocean. People swim around it. Lot's if them... Right... That's about it. Please use the tunnel to get from the parking to the beach ;)

Went here on a whim, only to be stranded for 4 hours till the next bus arrived. You can see everything within the space of 15mins.

The cafe at Aphrodite's Rock is really nice. It reminds me of the seaside shops you can find around UK in some of the more unspoilt areas. They do good food and I can recommend the ice cream. You can go under the road and come out on to what is a very pebbly beach. However the water is lovely... More

The atmosphere at Aphrodite's Rock is special. We were there late in the afternoon/evening when the lighting is especially beautiful.

We stopped here during a tour of the island. There was not a lot to see and the rock does not fit in with the legend of Aphrodite but it was still interesting to hear the other legends surrounding it.
